Years before music videos showed off her magnetic voice and personality and she sold out cross-country tours, Sierra Ferrell made her living busking in places like Pike Place Market.
" I always think about the noises of the market and the smells of the market," she said. "Good and bad."
A few hours before playing to a sold-out crowd at the Neptune Theatre, Ferrell wanted to visit her old stomping grounds where, six years earlier, she played her first "gig" in Seattle.

WHOA! Just recently discovered this Lady. Hard to believe that I didn’t even know she existed. I too know about them Seattle Streets. Lived up there in 2007. Everett & Snohomish areas for a year before goin’ back down South. So I could imagine her buskin’ there. One thang is for sure. Ms. Sierra is originality at it’s finest! ✨💌✨

Sierra is a friend of mine. I busked at Pike Place Market for decades and met her while she was there. she’s a fine lady, talented and kind, and calling her “trashy” speaks more about you than her.

I've been listening to her for years. When most of KZfaq didn't even know who she was. I am bummed but then happy for her. I don't like when musicians become too famous. You no longer have those small intimate shows at bars and small venues, then it becomes unaffordable to go watch them

Was important to me that my Grandmother meet the 1 I Truly Love , and at that time , I brought the concert to her with my blood brother’s witness ; and so we vibrated the air together .
