I was so into the music that I never noticed the camera on me. Once I did, I tried to get out of the shot. But the cameraman had other plans. Thank you all for the endless hours of entertainment these comments have provided my friends and I. That goes for the lovers and the haters as well.

I was mesmerized by here voice when I first saw this video. Decided that as soon as she started playing shows after Covid I’d go see her wherever I could before she blew up. I travelled 5,000 miles to see her play a festival in Tennessee and spoke to her briefly afterwards and tried to get a poster autographed but nobody had a pen. 6 months later, right after her grand ole opry debut she came to our house and jammed with my family at Christmas dinner! The coolest musical experience of my life! She’s a phenomenal talent and huge inspiration. “From ramen to the Ryman” as she says!

Awesome story, Alex! I'm jealous! When will Sierra drop by my place and deliver an impromptu concert?!? 🤣

What an amazing experience! I was sadden about the pen but then the visit to your house and the jamming!! Thank you for sharing. May I ask, what was the occasion for Sierra to visit you? Are you a musician as well? Thanks again.
@alexgray8804 Жыл бұрын
@@makitagut2472 I’m just some lucky asshole that got his wish. It helped that I have an extra room in Hawaii for guests and that sierra is just free spirited and as real as they come. She wishes she could give every one of her fans such a genuine experience, and she tries her darndest at every show. I was upstairs when she walked in and started playing an old Willie tune her first morning, while my wife made breakfast. I had to wipe away the tears before I came downstairs. Pure magic, she’s a true inspiration.

IMO Sierra is pretty underrated as a guitarist. She doesn't play flash, but she's got such a trick bag of techniques to bring out the rhythm, and the more I watch her the more impressed I am. I guess those chops have a lot of competition from her voice and writing.

Well I spoke too soon Down the son of the moon Well I'm dizzy so dizzy with desire As I'm feasting heavy by the fire No goodbyes on our minds Just a couple of delicate grapes hanging on a vine Well these wine soaked whispers pour from my mouth I'm asleep by the fire and I never want out And all the stars were out that night And I watched an empty sky And the sinking feeling of emptiness by my side Well I'll never forget those nights we shared It was nice to know it was nice to know someone cared [Chorus] And all the stars were the only light And all the stars were out that night And all the stars were the only light And all the stars, they were out that night

Shine Delphi Shine (and Elizabeth), I recently spent six months in New Orleans, from December 2014 'til May of this year. In that time I recorded approximately 60 to 70 different street performers in the French Quarter, Marigny and the CBD. Of every recording I made, and there were A LOT of good ones, I left New Orleans thinking that yours was the very best. Thanks for the link and the performance. I hope you sell a million copies of your song to people who watch this video. ~Dale Carlson
