From fusion 360 to final print - fusion 360 and 3d printing for beginners
A quick video showing the basics on design in fusion 360 and how to creat a very simple part then export it to Bambu slicer and from there print a finished part
If this proves popular I will build on this and design more complex parts - its aimed at people with no fusion experience to just give them a footing to try something simple and get it printed using Bambu studio etc.
If you have something you would like to see designed let me know and I will consider it for a future video
Possible next video will be on how to create a simple keyring and add an image or logo to it and make it ready to print

Great video for beginners! (6:19) One thing I might add is there is a "3d print" option in the file drop down menu that you can use to directly import the file into your slicer as a 3mf/stl. The STEP file is probably a better option though, as it makes prints more accurate, but just thought is was worth an honorable mention

good point i never do think to use the 3d print option as i always just export them as step files thanks for pointing that out

Great video, thanks :) Would love to see something with a bit more measuring outside just one plane. For example, a phone holder (plenty free STLs out there) as an extended 2D sketch would hold the phone, but making it solid isn't ideal because of weight, so a lot of designers punch holes out of it (often like a grid) and create legs, for example, that aren't on that same original plane of the sketch. Sometimes also hinges and things, which as far as I'm aware Fusion360 can do, but I have no idea how to :D Seeing how all of that would pair together as well as some design philosophy I think would be really useful! This is just an example of course, so anything incorporating these methods would be helpful. Thanks for the vid!

Thanks for this. Do you prefer this over the Bambu’s Studio/Slicer?

yes i always use fusion although for this simple part it could easily have been made in the slicer directly
