Thank you for telling Amy's story. This is the first I have heard of Amy Johnson, thank you for shining a light on her life, achievements and demise for us- for keeping her memory alive. You two are fabulous, thank you for sharing your adventures and making videos.

At the time, Amy Johnson was so well known and her exploits captured peoples' hearts, that in the UK, she had several songs written about her, the best known was "Amy, wonderful Amy" The chorus goes: Amy, wonderful Amy, How can you blame me for loving you? Since you won the praise of every nation, You have filled my heart with admiration. You can Google this, and even hear it here on KZfaq.

I still can’t get enough of how that tiny airplane came to light! I had never heard of this courageous pioneer woman. Alex, your find brought her back and her story, which needed to be retold so more people would learn of Amy! The spider is a story teller in many cultures, I found its appearance was more than timely! What a great video💐

On this Memorial Day in the USA, much honor and respect to Pilot Amy Johson, who died in 1941 in the service of her country, Great Britain. RIP Amy 🛫 See you on the other side. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 You really outdid yourselves with this video! In addition to the great finds, informative botany and entomology lessons, and terrific music, you shared the story (/stories!) of Amy Johnson with us, ensuring that an important pilot and woman will be remembered. Thanks so much! ❤❤ from Seattle. PS. When you found the fork this week, I was reminded that in previous videos, you had mentioned the possibility of making a wind chime from your found tableware. When you do, please be sure to show it to us. I'd love to see it!

Put mint mouthwash in a spray bottle to mist yourself to repel mosquitoes and other pesky flying things. I suggest that you bring one of those extension grabbers designed for disabled and elderly to pick things up to reach around nettles and grab the things that are beyond reach.

What fantastic treasures you unearthed, ladies. The spider brooch was creepy yet very unique and a cracking find. I loved the tiny little blue bottle and the airplane badge. We here in the States have a saying: "If you don't like the weather in [insert your state's name here], stick around a few minutes, it'll change." We don't have midges here, but we do have mosquitoes and they like the same conditions (no wind, humidity, etc) as midges do...they'll make you want to flee inside your house to escape from them. Miserable little so and sos.

@deloradeabel8487 When my sons were youngsters, they would welt up so badly when stung by mosquitoes that I had to put rubbing alcohol on the bites to stop the swelling. So many awesome finds this round. Alex, I had to look up and see what a midge was and they are some bitey little buggers, aren't they? I also couldn't wait and tried looking up Gail's spider brooch. I didn't find that particular one but WOW, who knew that spider brooches were such a big thing!!!

Fabulous ladies, I love your videos. With the midges, cedar oil keeps bugs away and is completely natural. Also, and you may know these things, tea tree oil on the bites. Ugh, I hate midge bites, know them well. :( Love from DownUnder, Lynda

Wow, some great finds. I can't believe that you found a spider brooch. I have collected vintage jewelry for years, and have several of them. I don't like spiders, but when they're in brooch form I do!
