I watched this movie "Born yesterday", I lost count. One of her most iconic role (she's definitely not a dumb blonde) to play this role to perfection. I cannot stop laughing each time I see her. Bless her soul, she died too young.

God bless Judy Holiday! One of the most wonderful stage performances ever accurately and appropriately captured on screen. A sincere depiction of an understanding of American history and patriotism that is now bittersweet to watch!

They didn’t want her for the film version, even though she did an amazing job on broadway. Took a lot of convincing to get her on film

Really ??? Not surprised ! I don’t find much information about her private life, except the sad news she died so young. Do you know if she had time to be mother ?

@@novikovasjonas well, that’s what i think. She was as funny , classy and beautiful as Lucille Ball that i also adore, from the same period but Judy had something more like innocence and freshness. Hope that she and her single child rest in peace in a beautiful place 🙏💖✨

I always heard that Broderick Crawford's character and Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday were the blueprint characters later on for Archie and Edith Bunker in All in the Family.

Crawford's character brcomes more brutal and abusive as the film goes on, and at one point she says to him in that screamy voice, "You're a MENACE!"
