I made this table for my own office, and I'm sitting by it right now. Somebody just DM'ed me with a pretty high offer on it. I said no, because honestly I like it, and I "wood" be too worried how my experimental pallet blocks wood section in the middle will perform over time. So I'm keeping it here, looking at it every day and see how it performs. Thanks for the offer though. Thanks again to all my sponsorts and friends that I dragged into the video.

I'm an ambassador for @rubiomonocoatscandinavia (Denmark). I'm not paid so say anything, but obviously I wouldn't become an ambassador if I didn't absolutely love their wood finishes.
I have been able to get a good amount of tools in my shop over the last year. I’m not a full time woodworker, and because I also have another job that supports my cost of living, I’m able to put everything I make from the woodworking back as investments in tools in my shop. It has been all hard work, but you’re welcome to make a comment about how fortunate I am to have a shop full of woodworking tools that magically have appeared overnight. But just know that I take care of a dayjob, work in the workshop in the evenings and edit videos for KZfaq many nights.
I'm not affililated with any of the toolbrands I'm using in this video. Nobody paid me so say anything. However, I do like to support other creators, and often buy their merch.
I do owe thanks to a lot of creators, I will try my best to feature you somehow in future videos. The way I like to feature other creators is by making some sort of cameo that's relevant for the video I'm making, so I'm sorry if you send me your sticker hoping to get a shout-out. It could be a while before the right opportunity shows up for me.

Your quote from A.A. Milne at the end? "Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"? I dare say you've never been sacked from a job so they could put a printer where you sat (and because your manager just didn't like you) , or because you talked too much (because you were nervous), or because you fumbled and dropped too many tools? Oh, and then there's the time I stood up for a co-worker who was getting shafted and I spoke out. I've been treated less because of my Autism (undiagnosed for the first 44 years) all my life and, even when I try something new, like wood working, leads you to believe the entire opposite of what you;re saying. I continue to live because of my loving wife and extended family, my dog, and a few select friends who treat me as an equal. While "technically" this looks easy, its not something I'm ever going to try - the materials alone would bankrupt me, and that's even if I got it right on the first try (which is definitely NOT likely) This does look AMAZING, I just wish I had the skill to achieve something like this.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with me. I can't begin to understand the weight of what you've gone through, but I deeply respect your strength and resilience in facing the challenges that life has presented you with. The quote I mentioned is meant to inspire and uplift, but I understand that life has its complexities that can't be summed up in a single phrase for everyone. I'm truly glad you have a supportive network in your wife, family, and close friends. It's invaluable to have people who treat us with kindness and understand us. Woodworking, like any craft, has its spectrum - from simple projects to the more complex ones like the table I showcased. Please don't feel daunted by the scale or cost of this particular project. There are countless woodworking projects that require minimal materials and can be quite forgiving for beginners. I hope you find something that resonates with your comfort level, and brings you joy in the process. Again, thank you for your comment and for your kind words about the table. Take care.

I like the way you show that you're a regular guy making woodworking projects in a simple shop (sometimes outdoors) with basic tools and you make mistakes. Then you fix your mistakes. Everyone messes up. It's how a person handles mistakes that determines whether they win or not. You inspire me. Love your videos.

I am not a big fan of river tables normally, if ever. Whilst I can appreciate the effort, design and construction I find the mix of plastic and wood to be wrong. So with that out of the way this video is without doubt, the best you have created so far. Your imagination must be like some sort of multiverse that can see all potential outcomes at the same time. This should not have worked, not in any universe but not only did you pull it off with a level of painful jaw dropping proportions the video itself was produced perfectly, aside from my usual contempt for river tables is my feelings toward makers music selection. Well you fucked that up for me too. We subscribers have waited a long time for a new Jesper vid and boy was this one worth the wait. I hope my sincerity comes across in this comment as I don't believe I really have the ability to express my thoughts accurately. You are a true inspiration sir

You nailed it Jesper. Way to get off the beaten path and design something totally creative. I've been manufacturing furniture in LA for over thirty years and typical river tables have had their 15 minutes of fame over 10 years ago. The industry needs something new and you get it!! My advise, never listen to critics; just stay innovative and true to yourself.

Tak for video. I really enjoyed the project and how it turned out. It's the perfect blend of new and re-used, rustic and elegant. It was also a lovely surprise to listen to your narration and be reminded of my late father-in-law. I'm just gonna say WOW! To all who have watched this video, please add your SUB-comment if you agree that this video elicits words of description that have likely been gathering dust in the back of our minds since our high school days in English class. - My list of such words --some of which I didn't even remember existed before Googling them-- would have to include "inspiring, exhortative, invigorating, awakening, and hortatory". And also, many thanks to the sponsors. I feel Jesper knocked this one out of the park so far as whether or not it validates the giftsd he received from each of you. Every single one of you got a hundred times more value from your donations than your up front cost. THorough this end product, Jesper has clearly demonstrated his appreciation for your participation as he clearly delivered a TREMENDOUSLY INSPIRING piece of work here. In fact, let me say Bravo! for all who were involved in moving this project from start to completion, and a special thanks to Jesper's wife for motivating the process for this project's genesis! Lastly, a word of thanks to Jesper. Your creativity is infinitely broad and felt acriss all you do. Not only is it apparent in your zestful woodworking mindset, but the act of weaving into the fabric of your videos the background themes you come up with such as these A.A.Milne 'Pooh Bear' analogies and references is strategic GENIUS! and you are TRULY appreciated beyond words. Maybe I, too, will get a new friend. I do hope so. THANKS J.M.!

Hey there! Your words genuinely warmed my heart. It's always the aim to create content that not only entertains but resonates on a deeper level. I'm elated to see the kind of connection you've made with this project. Your expansive list of descriptors has me humbled - it's the kind of feedback that fuels my passion further! A huge nod of gratitude to the sponsors and everyone who played a part in this journey. Each contribution, no matter how small or large, has its unique imprint on the final masterpiece. And yes, my wife deserves a medal (or ten!) for her endless patience and inspiration. Lastly, the Pooh Bear analogies and references are close to my heart, and I'm thrilled that they added an extra layer of depth to the narrative. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Here's to many more projects, stories, and potential friendships! 🙌 Best, Jesper
