Probably one of the most complicated RC Trucks I ever worked on, but I love a challenge. I purchased one of these for my son- in - law last summer. Seitched it to a brushless motor. I had to replace the rear differential because it was so packed with sand it exploded. Someone drove it on a beach, in a lake. He ended up giving me the Summit yesterday when he knew I was about to purchase my own. He knew how much I wanted a Summit and decided just to give it to me. I am going to find him a Slash this year.

Wow i used the same truck stand for a while i filled mine with rocks and greased under the lid it made it swivel and it was great! Great minds think alike!

Nice. Do you always use grease? I’m rebuilding mine and can’t decide between grease and oil.

I know this video was a year ago. But I’m just curious since you had it tore down that far how come you didn’t check your differential gears? They are the weak link. If you ever need to replace them put the hardened ones in your never have problems again
