You don't need to remove wiper blades, you can access the nuts by just lifting front of plastic panel after all clips and torx screws arev removed.

Morning Mark #freddyfocus content in full swing As always informative & interesting, and very in depth. The engine bay looks very clean despite #freddyfocus being abandoned..... Which PLEASES my OCD for all things clean very much. I've just replaced the rear spring top/bottom anti squeak mounts on my MK7 Fiesta today. I’ve just got 2 shocks for my Mark2 06plate Ford focus part number 1919323 didn’t come with the nut that attaches to the top mount please can someone tell me the part number for the nut?

Good video pal but you can get by without taking the wipers off. There’s plenty of room for ratchet without removing the top panel. Just undo the screw at each end and you can just bend it out of the way enough to get access to the bolts. Just pop out the bottom section of that plastic panel and top part bend enough to get by. 👍

Noticed the Halfords Modular tool trays, I would be interested in knowing whether the tool cabinets are also from Halfords and if so which one? Do you rate them? Loving the detail in your videos BTW.

Hi they are the standard Halfords Advanced range. Think they only do red the cheaper ones and the black the advanced ones. I have found them to be tough and reliable. They normally do an offer sometimes and you can get them cheap. I think I bought mine just before Christmas on a 1 day deal thing they offered. Don't pay full RRP as often they can be had for nearly half price.

@@CoatsandGaiters Thank you for the responce, always been happy with Halfords. Might not be the cheapest (Sensibly Priced) but quality of there own products very good. Staff and Customer service excellent. My 150 pc tool set from over 20yrs still good (a few items missing but still have the 10mm's).

@@dietmarsaito1275Great bits of kit, all the Halfords Advanced gear. I've got all their modular sets & black stacking tool box, cabinets, draw units etc & have never ad any issues with any of it. As with all my tools as they're in the shed all year round, I spray everything with WD40 twice yearly to keep any rust away, which works excellently. I can also vouch for the Halfords replacement guarantee...... Absolutely fantastic. I've used it twice & as they say they just replaced the items with brand new, also you do not require your receipt for the replacement process. As I said earlier, GREAT BITS OF KIT.

@@dietmarsaito1275 All my sockets etc are Halfords and a lot go back to 1995. Think I had one breaker bar snap but I was overloading it and they replaced it. I think Halfords/Sealey etc tend to all be the same.

@19:33 you didn't mention anything about the position of the strut mount top bearing and the top of the coil spring. That does have to be correctly positioned for the spring to be correctly aligned. I'm trying to do this now and unsure about exactly where it should go. The second thing is that Ford produce 8 different versions of the coil spring all with different painted colours. Mine arer red brown blue which denotes the handling pack but with the exception of Febi [who produce two versions] all other manufacturers only seem to issue one spring for these vehicles. Another dilemma - £140 for a Ford spring or £20 for anything else ??!!??

Your quite right about the alignment. Someone else mentioned this so I added a bit on it on my COMMUNITY tab with a picture. I went with just an after market spring as I paid £250 for the car.

@@davyboy888 I had to adjust mine with it on the car, wasn't easy. I think the spring can rub the chassis if not correctly aligned.

The quality of these ford focus cars is so abysmally low. A 2010 model on average have such big rust on the body. Shocking low quality cars.

@@henrymcdonald6173 no shit sherlock, but there is a rather big difference in how fast rust can advance depending on the build quality of a car. Such as coatings, material quality or even structure. The ford and mazdas 6 of that age have poor construction. Where moisture stays within the cracks and sheets, no drainage etc and bad coating. I have several other cars of a lot older age which dont even have a quarter of the rust these have despite being daily's in a wet climate
