How to install BMW Front End Link | Adjustable SPL Parts | m235i 2 series f22

The sway bar end links are an essential upgrade for any BMW especially if you are thinking about upgrading the swaybar of if you are thinking about lowering your car. The adjustability of the SPL Parts end links are going to work much better on lowered setups compared to stock.

Feel like you may have left some crucial info out. From what I’ve seen there is many ways to get these installed but you should be leaving one side bolt loose and putting the car under load to see exactly where it needs to be set.

Very descriptive thank you. I just put them on my e90 335i, and it was concerning since I changed all the control arms, and installed Bilstein B6 struts as well. No preload is key. Great job…

How come you didn't tighten the end links under load?

Only rubber bushing need to be tightened under load.

@@FritzRamos What rubber bushing are you talking about? These links are supposed to be tightened with the suspension under load, including some weight on the driver side floor boards to account for estimated driver weight. The way you just did this places pre-load on the sway bar. It's wrong.

@@allmycarsisbroke Preload only applies to rubber bushings. Polyurethane and monoball bushings allow for free movement. As you stated, the links have no rubber bushings so there is nothing that's preloaded.
