Thanks for making this review. I’ll be buying one. My scx has been in pieces for over a year because I wanted 4ws but then realized the stock remote was only full left or right and how impractical it was. Also couldn’t get it perfect straight. Your videos are great

I went with the radiolink rc6gs v2 and got the 4ch reciver. It's super customizable.

the gt5 is awesome because of the 4ws. but the best use of gt5 is the servo knobs. so you can independently steer the rear while steering the front at the same time. not a lot of transmitters have knobs so easily accessible

Awesome video. I just picked up this tx/rx. I want to use the channel 3 set up to use the preset crawl mode. My question is how do I set the end points for the rear servo it keeps pushing even tho the wheels are at lock. I’ve set the front end points already but confused on rear points.

Hi Matt, great tutorial. I also have the gt5 for my boat and arrma truck. I'm new to the brushed scx24, can I just remove the supplied rx and connect up the flysky rx instead? ie, do I just connect the motor / servo's etc direct to the BS6 and supply it with 5v using a dc buck? I was a complete noob to the micro crawlers so there’s still some things I have yet to learn... that said, I’m about to start the 4xsteer mod and a little confused! I have the Furitek lizard in conjunction with the stock Esc. What will need to change to use this transmitter? Do I need the Tegu? You are my go to guy for everything SCX24! Keep up the great content!

I enjoyed the explanations of all the features, but I have one question: how do you use one radio on different rigs? After you set up your different profiles, do you need to bind it every time you switch to a different rig or is there a simple way around it that I am missing? Of course, I can bind all receivers to the one radio, but that would prevent me from also having another radio available for guests. Right now I use 5 different FSGT5s on my 5 rigs and every time I switch rigs I also switch radios. That means if I carry a spare truck on the trail I also have to carry the spare radio or re-bind in the field. And that is painful with some of the waterproof receiver boxes. So far the only simple way out I can see is to run the leads from the bind plug to an external switch to put the truck into "Bind Mode". I am still looking for a simpler solution, otherwise I really love the system.

It's probably a little late but you can change the color of the lights by holding the back button and rotating the little dial

Hey Matt, been awhile since this video was posted. Had a question about the crawler mode on this controller, is there a way to change what channels the crawl mode uses? i love the control of having it on channel 6, same as you, but sometimes it would be convenient to be able to turn on the crawl mode sometimes. so was wondering if there is any way to change the crawl mode to basically take over channel 6 instead of 3. and then once you turn off crawl mode, it goes back to the knob.

If you jumped the channel 3 to channel 6 could you do the best of both worlds and have the knob and control with the wheel?

My fs gt3c can do it off a switch where you thumb is, left rear middle 4 wheel and right front, up on top crab mode

I would just use the 3rd channel in the stock reciver

Thing is junk, I bought one, 6 channels receiver. And only two channels work. Checked the reciever all is good. Order another reciever 4 channel. Still only 2 channels work
