I was a Clemson fan, went to the games, loved the team. Right up until I saw Dabo marching in a BLM protest. I’ve lost all respect of him and now he stands up there pretending everything is good while sliding further down the rankings. I’d say I hate it, but since I don’t lie, I won’t.

@@austinsineath2508our team just went toe to toe with the number 4 team in the nation. This wasn’t Duke again. Cade is growing quick and our defense was lights out. Even though this team has 2 losses, I think we are a top 15 team.

@@austinsineath2508we took the 4th ranked team into overtime when a field goal would've won it outright for us. Those are loose ends, the team produced. Mafah missed a protection on one play that blew a 40-50 yard drive and evened the game up. Our defense did it's job against a strong offense. These, as much as you might not like it, are loose ends. FSU isn't what they were in 2016, but neither is Louisville. The game shifts, different teams get better. Clemson needs to improve on the rare errors and minimize their severity in calling. That's loose ends, loose ends will beat you playing quality opponents.

The offensive line completely failed Cade multiple times in this game, ESPECIALLY the fumble play which was NOT Cade's fault. Cade made good decisions multiple times and sacrificed his body on some key runs, while also throwing mostly good passes. Clemson lost this game at the end where the coaching staff didn't only play insanely conservative, they didn't even TRY to go for it and win the game with 30 seconds left. The last 3 minutes of coaching in this game was the most embarrassing thing I have seen since the 2010 Orange Bowl against West Virginia. This was... disappointing from the coaching aspect, but hopeful from the players aspect and how they played. Had we went up 14 points, this game was over 31-17. That fumble (due to the offensive line made of swiss cheese that play) was a 14 point swing including the momentum shift. If one play could ever completely change a game- that was an example of one of those plays. The coaching at the end was unforgiveable, and were complete rookie mistakes that would not have happened under Brent Venables and Chad Morris.

All I'II say is that was phil's failed assessment of the defense that caused the fumble and the offensive line played decent (Clemson's offensive line decent, we've never had a good line)

Good game, Tigers. Dabo used to frustrate me, but I think those two rings stabilized me. I don't follow football like I used to, but I watched this game and saw where he doesn't use the portal whereas Norvell has. Wonder what the reason behind that is.

When you don't use the portal, it allows you to develop your players within your system for longer. You get quicker maturity with the portal, but arguably the ceiling will be lower. Considering the vast difference in maturity within their scheme, I'm extremely excited for what this group is gonna become.

I have a problem with clemson play calling at critical point of the game. It was overtime and FSU have just scored and went up one touch down ahead. Clemson was moving the pretty good on the ground. Clemson had the ball and believed that it was 3 and 1 yard instead running the ball like they have doing they tried a lateral pass play and loss a yard. In so instead of 4 and 1 yard it was now 4 and 2 yards. Again instead of letting Shipley rush for the two yards now they tried passing the ball five or more yards down the field and failed. The game was over. The play calling is the problem with Clemson football game. It not the players but the play calling. kem with

Clemson was the better team today, probably would beat FSU 80% of the time. Just that one freak fumble play when Clemson was about to put FSU away likely made the difference. The luck went the way of the Seminoles today but yes, by the stats and by the eye test, that should have been the 8th straight win for the Tigers vs FSU. That’s football. That’s life.

It always hurts to not win in a rivalry game but I’d imagine Clemson would be ok losing to them once every 8 years. The series was actually becoming way too one sided, to the point of no longer being considered a rivalry.

Terrible call on 3rd down and inches and he throws the ball in overtime. That is a disgraceful call. The kicker stinks. You got to make a 30 yard field goal. Some of the play calling was atrocious. Head coach needs to take over. This was a win that became a loss on bad offensive coaching and a bad kicker.

Klubniks ball handling skills are beyond poor. I know he got hit hard but you have to hold onto the football. He has given up how many fumbles for points already? Clemson was deep in FSU territory getting ready for a two score lead going into the 4th quarter then instead it's a tie game due to yet another fumble by the QB. Also, Goodwin is a big reason they lost no doubt. What in the world was he thinking when he went to a 3 man front FSU scored twice? Then sadly the play call sequence in OT was the icing on the cake. Dabo will need to consider an actual defensive coordinator at the end of this season along with a receivers and special teams coach. The O Line coach may need to be evaluated as well.
