In this video I will take you through my Anaerobic Threshold test. This is not the same as the ''well known'' 20-minute FTP test used by so many cycling test programs. (outcome can be similar but doesn't have to be)
In this test my Anaerobic threshold power & heart rate will be determined by analysis of the CO2 and CO values in my breath. This will give an very accurate value of the anaerobic threshold power witch wil than be used as FTP. (functional threshold power)
It will also give a aerobic threshold and an approximate VO2max.
Test protocol:
start at 120Watt for 3 min, add 30watt every 3 min until threshold is reached, than add 30watt every minute until failure.

Height:186,5cm
Fat percentage: 6,9
Anaerobic threshold: 375 Watt
Max reached value: 540 Watt
VO2 max: 66 ml/m/kg
