Thank you Sir. I am glad the way you explained the info. May be in the future you share information about toyota camry fuel pump troubleshooting. my fuel pump is not activated when turn on but when I start the car runs good. Don't have idea what is the problem!!!!

The question I have is how do you know that the fuel pump is not activated are you listening for the noise or is this through measuring fuel pressure?

How do I get all these diagrams? I want to troubleshoot all different cars and not just fuel pump diagrams but ignition systems etc...where do I get them?

I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 automatic 4 cylinder that doesn't have a timer on fuel pump like most system. It has a fuel pump relay that is only activated when ignition switch is turned to start. This drives and fuel pump circuit breaking relay. Had a no start issue only occasionally. Seemed to be fuel. Has 75,000 miles. I put a DC Led meter on line to fuel pump. I can turn key to on. No voltage. Turn to crank position and I see voltage and it starts. Let it back to on position and now it has voltage. Just like you described in your video. Usually, I can flip the key on and off a few times and it works. Since it works months at a time and is fine and won't stay broke but I am scared to drive it. Battery voltage is good at 12.7 and running 13.8/14 or so running. No codes. Like my volt meter on fuel pump wire, also running bluereader while driving. Garage kept. Owned since new. Maintenance up to date. I have meters. What do I check first. Thanks.

I don't know but hopefully you are aware that some Toyotas go through a air l meter switch to turn on fuel pump that's why it turns on in the start position almost like a mass air flow

Based on the making a model of Toyotas they have different circuits for the Toyota Tacoma the ECU turns on the relay and there's also a resistor involved to the fuel pump which decreases the voltage to the fuel pump

On the schematic that I have on pin 30 of the ECM module which is the fuel pump relay control it feeds the control side and then current flows through a resistor as the relay is activated through the resistor to the fuel pump I have to measure the voltage at the resistor or at pin 87 at the fuel pump relay however when it starts and doesn't start sometimes there is problems with check valves and fuel pressure regulators that have to hold the pressure so that it can start the next time

I jumped the fuel pump relay which showed 12V on my '95 Maxima. I sill have no power at the fuel pump connectors. Suggestion?

i just got a 05 audi A4 engine turn fine but i do t hear the fuel pump turn on. i checked the fuel pump fuse before watching this video and it has not power even with key is turned. so i can assume i’d have to check the PCM right?

Couple of issues here first thing is even if you hear the fuel pump going on you still have to have proper fuel pressure and hold that pressure number two are you see me don't have a fuel pressure gauge to do that so in order for the fuel pump to be turned on you need a crankshaft sensor to give a signal to turn on the fuel pump relay you can jump the fuel pump relay 87 and 30 terminals see if the fuel pump comes on be careful not to jump any other terminals you will destroy modules

I have a 98 gmc safari the fuel pump is staying on with the key off I can hear it humming so it’s pumping. Can u send me the wiring diagram or tell me what is causing this? I have pulled the fuel pump relay under the hood and it still runs??

What the heck? Pull the battery temporarily? But shouldn’t run without a relay unless it was wired to bypass the relay lol these old trucks are all custom

Can you tell me if it's a crank and no start no crank no start that's how we begin 1st if it's a crank and no start you can feel the vibration of the engine trying to start then we have to measure fuel pressure but I would assume that you don't have a gauge at this point to do that do you have a check engine

What I’ve heard power control wire goes thru oil sensor how do you bypass that cause it’s cold and oil pressure is 0 if it falls below 4 # it shuts off pump

Yes the oil pressure sensor is used almost like a protective device to shut off the fuel pump when there is no proper oil pressure level first thing to start with is make sure when you jump the fuel pump relay you have proper pressure

It wasn’t put there to protect engine it was suppose to be a backup for if relay goes bad, sorry about the correction but should. E away around it don’t have power to relay and fuse next to it is hot

@@michaelbaskinmichael9862 exactly I made a video about that an oil pressure switch and a fuel pump relay for Fords they use it as protection in case the oil pressure is not correct you can look it up on the channel but if you have a problem with the relay you can jump the load side as long as you have 12 volts going to it

Usually on the diagrams which is part of the schematics it'll tell you all the grounds if you're not sure put one probe of the multimeter on the negative of the battery and touch another point like the frame of the alternator and you know it's ground

Okay do you have it do you have power on the relay? Because I want to understand clearly you're saying you don't have it on the tank that's a long way from the circuit box fuse box to the tank try to get back to me and tell me if you have it on the coil side of the relay and the one side of the context of the relay try to get back to me
