Anti IV it does their are 2 hoses 1 pops off crazy easy and the other is clamped on better. The one that fell off in this video is most likely the exact same hose that fell off yours. It fell off pretty easy I might secure it a bit better when I put it all back together

Jason Jones yes I believe the one you’re talking about is attached by a nut at the bottom of the fuel tank and goes to the throttle body on the right side. That is the actual fuel line so the easiest way is to take it off at the fuel tank. Make sure you have a shitty rag underneath as their will be a very small of fuel probably sitting in that hose and it will come out as soon as you undo the bolt. Their are also 2 washers associated with that bolt holding that hose to the bottom of the tank so don’t lose them. Not much fuel will come out just a little bit so don’t worry if you see a bit come out.

Jason Jones one hose is the breather hose and the other hose that hangs their doing nothing is the overflow hose. The one bolted to the tank and also the throttle body is the fuel line. Hope I could be of some help. Have a good one and good luck

Yeah it’s somewhat easy but time consuming. Because you’ll have to remove a bunch of stuff to do it properly I would suggest just getting a service manual. It’ll make your life easier. Unless you’ve done it before it’s not something I can talk you through because of where it’s located. Not as easy to get to as a car. Real pain in the arse.

Shit yeah sounds like a small pain in the ass but all I can say is it really only fits well one way I always try to take a photo of the exact positions of stuff for this reason. It’s happened to me too lol all I can really say is try find that sweet spot that the fuel line is supposed to sit and make sure the breather hose and shit isn’t getting pinched either. I know that isn’t much help but it’s one of those things you got to get that sweet spot and it’s a hands on thing.

@@MotoBikeMike hey thanks for the response my dude! The banjo fitting was off by 180 degrees, all I had to do is flip it around, and it fired right up! I'm wondering if you may be able to offer some advice on something else, though. The reason I took it apart was because I figured the fuel pump is going bad, its leaning out above 10k rpm. I wanted to start by cleaning or replacing the fuel filter before buying a new pump, but when I had it apart I saw that the filter is a non serviceable part. I tried to shoot some brake clean through it, and put it back together, but I'm still having fuel starvation issues. The only way to get a new filter is to buy a new sending unit from honda, and that's like $500. Do you have any suggestions? I don't necessarily wanna buy a new aftermarket pump, because they don't include new filters and it may not solve my issue. I read that some people have had luck deleting the stock filter and running an in line filter, but the floater for the fuel gauge mounts to the filter housing, so I'm not sure how people are doing that

I don’t have a video of it sorry. It’s fairly easy but you want to make sure everything is triple checked before you cut anything. Their in some tutorials on here that are good if you can find them.

Yes 2005/06 are the same everything pretty much 2007 and up are different and 2003/04 are different. 05/06 you’re good to swap anything

Yes the tank will fit fine. Most of the parts are interchangeable for 2003-2006 models. Some of the fairings fit different and the suspension and engine are different on the 2005/2006 models but many of the other stuff you can just swap over no biggie.

@@MotoBikeMike thanks man I picked up an 05 with a rusty tank inside. It only has 5200 KMs on it. Just needs a new tank, tires (they are pretty old), clean n lube the chains, change all fluids qnd I pretty much have a new bike.

No problem. Enjoy the ride. Once you get it all road ready it’s a great bike, you will love it.

I would say the basic concept is extremely similar. Bolts and stuff may be in different spots but the basic premise is pretty much the same

MotoBike Mike Okay ... 1st thank you !!!!! I really do appreciate it... 2nd I was riding my bike going like 160 ... all suddenly My bike just lost power .... all the electrical components was still on ... I was twisting the throttle and nothing !!! So I waited till the bike just stop on it’s own .... When I came to a full stop ... again my bike was on ... as in the lights, cluster and Fan was kicking .... I waited for a tow about an hour and the tow was taken long .... so I decided to turn the bike and it start right away ... so that being said ... I was going about 60 ... When I was a exit to my garage my bike lost power again ... so I began to push the bike for a mile .... after I got to my garage I try staring it ... and nothing ... So now I notice the next day that my fuel pump did not kick in ... meaning I didn’t hear the buzzing sound of you know what I mean .... I strongly believe it’s the fuel pump .... also I notice that I get a F1 but it doesn’t blink it’s just steady... any idea’s .... so that being said I use to be a grease monkey .. I know about cars but bikes not that I don’t know ... I just to try ... because it’s just no space to work on ... any ideas ... again I’m sorry for the bother ... and by the way ... ur video inspire me to actually to bring pussy and just do it how u did ....

TALONTSx yeah sorry about that I should make it more clear like 2003-2006. But 2003-2006 are the same body wise and location of wires etc, and I believe all of them are basically the same for the tank with very small differences like bolt location. Thanks for watching I’m looking forward to getting her track ready once I take most of the bike a part. It’ll be fun

tryumph jordan even with an F4i you could follow along. Bolt placement will be in a slightly different position but taking a motorcycle tank off has the basic principle no matter the brand. It seems more complicated when you haven’t done it before but It really isn’t that bad.
