I bought the X-Pro2 in March 2016 (Pre-ordered). I have loved it and use it far more than my Nikon DSLRs. A couple of weeks ago I added an X-T2 with VPB to my kit and it feels so good. Nice video and it has been quite useful.

Ordered it. Who knows when it will actually arrive? In the meantime, the X-T1 still kicks ass.

I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. No doubt you know this camera inside and out but you seemed unprepared. You mention shutter release/af-l options and showed a demo but never talked about setting that up. Again, I appreciate it and learned some things with my camera I received today but maybe jot some notes down next time 😀

There is something that was frustrating me about the X-T1 and it seems to continue in X-T2 - the eye-cup. Look at the 0:35. You can see the amount of dust stuck on the eye-cup. It is so hard to clean it off that rubbery material. It is the same with the original eye-cup and the extended one (as shown in the video). Fuji, PLEASE, PLEASE replace that material with something that repels dust.

The AC wall charger adapter for the grip only charges the grip batts-- you have to remove the grip to get the main or 3rd battery out of the camera itself and charge it via the conventional charger. But most people do not mention this. USB charging is not recommended, use the Fuji charger for single battery charging.

A helpful video as I'm thinking of getting one of these. A couple of things though...in your description you seemed to mix up the micro-USB for the HDMI port, I also believe the LCD is 1 million + dots not 920,000. Finally Fuji seem to have dropped a feature that I got when I upgraded my X-E2 to firmware 4.0, in that you can't seem to long press a function button directly on the X-T2 and get the customisation menu for that button. You seem now to only be able to long press the 'Display Back' button and only then choose which button on the camera you wish to customise...but that's a minor issue. I'm really looking forward to the full X-T2 review on DPReview when it comes out. To see if this camera really is as good as it seems to be!

Beautiful cameras. Too bad they are sooooo expensive here in Mexico. The devalued Mexican Peso really shot out these cameras out of the reach of many which is why I think they are taking so much longer to introduce the newer line here in Mexico. I haven't seen the X70 nor the Xpro-2 in stores locally.

How can you set to show the shutter speed (ss) in the lcd screen (I already set the screen display shutter to ON), in aperture priority.

Are there any hopes for getting the Fuji X-T2 to tether in Capture One? The software has listed the camera under “supported cameras” in their latest update, but as soon as I connect the X-T2 to my MacBook all functions on the camera get disabled and “USB” appears on the LCD. No camera is being recognized in C1. Or do I do something wrong? Any thoughts on this? That’s a big obstacle in my workflow. I unfortunately realized it after buying the X-T2. I don’t find any proper info on this matter and nobody is giving me a proper response either. Would appreciate your insight on this one. Thanks.

Hi Fuji Guys. I'm stuck and could really use your expertise. I recently purchased an X-t2 and have been working through the manual and your videos to get it set up. A key feature that I'm unable to find is the focal length indicator. Where is it/how do you turn it on? I rely on seeing my focal length for hyperfocal calculation as well as planning lunar shots where I need to be able to calculate object size/FoV and then correctly set up my shot in the field. You assistance is greatly appreciated. FYI...the lens I[m using (for now) is the 18-55. My firmware is up-to-date. Thank you.

I just recently switched from Canon to Fuji and I find a strange thing happens while shooting in low light. Both the EVF and LCD display a lag as if showing a video with a15fps and long shutter speed? I shoot landscapes so alot of my work is in low light? If I search google it, everything I can read about it says it's a power save lag but if half press the shutter and make sure the camera is active, the lag doesn't change once in low light? I never had this with live view on LCD with Canon?

You forgot to mention if you are shooting RAW and you are in Playback you cannot punch in your focus like your example to check sharpness. You can only move in a small amount with RAW. With JPEG you can move in more like you were showing of the cup. I always shoot RAW so that is an issue for me. I have to shoot a second card in Slot 2 with JPEG so I can punch in more like my Canons. Hopefully Fuji will fix that someday.

Hi Jerry, Watching this video together with my brand new Fuji X-T2 it is very helpful and fun, learning a lot and want to share my experience about the yesterday bought Fuji X-t2, my first impression. For first I kept my Nikon D750 and the 50mm f/1,4 because I didn't know what to do. Why I making this step? Simple..I got massive back-problems, and the lenses from Nikon (14-24/24-70/70-200 all F/2,8) are just to heavy, I cant drag those any-more, therefore I sold my Nikon D3s and D4s and yesterday my last from the Holy trinity the f/2,8 14-24 with a big knot in my stomach :( I like the building quality from the Fuji X-t2, the dials and body are full metal, makes the Nikon looking like a Chinese plastic cheep ass camera (sorry Nikon) The Fuji X-t2 is a bit smaller because it is not a SLR, that means its missing the mirror and working with a display, and just that display is a horrible thing, I hate that a mirror is way better! Of cause the buttons and menu layout is frustrating me, I got use to it, the Nikon's handling blindfolded, now every step is searching :) I got the Fujinon 10-24mm F/4, FULL METAL and very light, beautiful little lens and unbelievable good building quality and very sharp, it got image stabilisation! (I didn't notice that in the first place) This combo is a winner for me, the weight from the NIKON 14-24 F2,8 is equal (or more?) to the weight from the Fuji X-t2 with the 10-24mm attached! And the picture quality from this combo is better than the Nikon D750 with the 14-24 f/2,8! Talking about ISO 200 max 800. I didn't have the time testing in higher ISO. My second Fujinon is a mistake, the f/1,4 35mm, the picture quality is really outstanding, but the focus is very slow, way to slow, and behaves like a toothbrush krrrrr....krrrrr I hate that. At least 3 battery's is what you need, equal to one Nikon! And for people with big hands like me, buy the grip like I did the MHG-XT2, or the battery (BOOSTER) grip VPB-XT2 what's to heavy for me. The sun is shining today, I going to play with my new toy, bye! :)

Wow this camera is packed with technology, i have decided to sell off my Sony a7ii and lenses to purchase this. Hopefully it will be good enough to so I can sell my Canon gear also. But I use the Fuji still doesn't have the telephoto lens selection yet.

I am beginning to get into digital photography (I don’t do it professionally), I rented the Sony A7II with the 55mm f/1.8 and I really like it, I’m not going to get into the specifics, but the end result was a lot of great photos. If I get the Fuji XT-2, what am I sacrificing (if anything) by not having a full frame sensor and a base ISO of 200 instead of 100?. I use the camera for family, landscapes and some street photography, I know the price of the Sony lenses, but I only need one or two, I still have my film cameras and lenses. Thank you.

I wonder why the shutter speed can be changed by accident when the camera shutter speed is set to the camera’s sync speed. Seems like that should be “locked”; also would love for the focus switch on the front of the camera be a bit more difficult to change. I’ve changed it just by picking up the camera. Otherwise, I absolutely love my T-2!!

I thought I'd be interested in this camera until I found out it didn't have body stabilization. I like the lens selection and user interface but without IBIS, I'm not interested.

I have an X-T1 and 2, I use the 18 to 135 mostly, my problem is somehow, my fat fingers are moving the front SCM dial to M. I know I should pay attention to the viewfinder box (focus area) and it will light up when in focus, but I am not. How can I lock that dial. I did just purchase the manual 12mm lens. So will I have to move that dial to M when using that lens. Thanks

when is the X-T3 coming ? I really like fuji lens line up, before investing on lens, i need to know if fuji has any plans in future releasing still/video balance camera? For now i rent X-T2 when needed for still. But video it lacks many features, Internal LOG, 10bit codec and 4k60fps and 4k crop factor. Canon and sony withhold/divide best features across many cameras. Nikon don't bother about video guys, its clear. Panasonic is doing all it can for video, but 20mp!!. Now only choice is fuji with good sensor size and great inherited colors. 24mp is good enough but need better video specs.

Hey - just got my XT2. Have you noticed that the colour on the LCD is different to that on the XT1? The XT1 looks more true to life. The XT2 has a greenish tint to it. A friend of mine has one too and says his is the same. Any thoughts/ideas?

Hi perhaps you can help? When zooming with xt2 and any Fuji zoom the picture flickers as if it's constantly adjusting exposure, it's particularly problematic when zooming while recording video as it's recorded. Can you tell me why this happens and can it be stopped? Tried 3 popular Fuji channels and no one has answered me.

how about the problem with the rubber flap on the left side of the camera? it wont close properly on my x-t1, is the x-t2 still uses the same design/material for that specific flap?? i had to superglue a paper clip on my x-t1 to make it close properly. since my basic kit is the 16mm wr, i take street shots in the rain. so i need to make sure its closed properly.

Thank you so much for your great tips. I'm just playing around with the settings with my fuji x-t2. But when I'm in A-Mode there's nothing happening with my front dial, I can't adjust the aperture (the little dial-sign "half moon" also doesn't appear). Also in P Mode I can't change the aperture with the rear dial. I use the xf 18-55mm/2.8-4. I assume that some setting in the menue could be the reason for this behaviour. Schutter speed works fine with the front dial, so I don't understand what I have done wrong. What can I do? Could you please help me ?

Hi, can you please answer a question. On my XT2 when everything is set in manual mode and with the exposure comp dial set to zero, the exp comp will change by itself in camera thus altering the exposure. Is there a menu setting that I am not aware of to stop this?

I am an event photographer whose clients continually request images during the event. Nikon's solutions are rubbish and clunky and frankly not user-friendly in the field ( or office). Please send a link to a field review the wireless system. IMHO it the is the future. Very informative video.

is fuji ever going to have a graphite silver xt2 ? fuji needs to enter the modern world of cameras and give us touch screens like every flagship camera on the market except fuji. 1DXll. 5D4. D5. EM1 ll. GH5. new haselblad X1D. Sony A6500. a touch sceen doesnt take away from using your dials. it just ads functions like touch focus in video. makes it easier to view photos and go through menus. fuji needs to wake up. the camera world wants touch screens

Stop comparing to the X-T1. I never had one, so these comments are irrelevant and meaningless to me. The run through of the various menus was way too fast to follow. I was never sure what your fingers were doing to choose each menu, so slow it down and explain, explain, explain!!

Too many annoying and distracting mistakes in this video. If you get it wrong, re-shoot it. I had to turn this off half way through because I could not stand it.

You should be more concentrated and focussed if you do such a video. Interrupting and correcting yourself all the time or searching for words, is kind of annoying. Other than that, very nice cam!

Your cameras are excellent. You need to stop undercutting them with these sadly unprofessional videos. Hire a marketing pro and a videographer who knows what he's doing. This is embarrassing.
