This is a less than 10 minute, full-body Rebounder workout to get you lymphatic system and blood moving! Rebounder workouts are great for lymphatic flow and lymphedema, but also great for cardio. When using the rebounder you are bound to get a great workout in a short amount of time (even under 10 minutes). Mini-trampoline workouts are easy to do at home that don't take a lot of space. Mini-trampolines can come with a handle bar for safety and balance

That got my heart going! My one bad(swollen) leg is so uncomfortable now, which I hope means something positive. I’ll be doing this a couple of time a day.

Great Bellicon rebounder workout 🏋️ that got me into Zone Two cardio! I didn’t know it existed. I’m glad to have found it, as I was treated for prostate cancer three years ago and I’m still working on getting rid of the abdominal fat from my hormone shots. Greetings from an American 🇺🇸 expatriate in Taipei, Taiwan 🇹🇼.

Thank you for what you do on this channel. You provide me with hope that this can me managed to some extent. My biggest problem after lower legs is significant swelling in face which is getting to the point where leaving the house takes more courage than I have available some days. 😊

Hello, thanks for the great informations. Can i do those exercices with a weaken pelvic floor and prolapses? Thanks 😊
@deannkeith4271
@deannkeith4271 4 ай бұрын
I'm not sure about the prolapse, but for a weak pelvic floor only do a health bounce where your feet do not leave the mat. You can hold a six inch squishy exercise ball in between your inner thighs while you health bounce. This should help strengthen your pelvic floor. It may take a few months before you can jump with your feet leaving the mat.

I like the disclaimer at the start of the video...consult your physician..etc. The reality of someone with edema, lymphedema, etc, who is overweight and trying to establish a fitness routine, doing these exercises is "hopeful," at best. You are in great shape. I am at the "health bounce" stage.

Question: Why doesn't the lower extremities get more swollen with the jumping? It seems like it would make my leg swell more. When I go on walks for exercise it seems to make my leg swell. I ride my bike and that helps. I'm wanting to get a rebounder but I'm afraid it will make the swelling worse.
@JGalegria
@JGalegria Ай бұрын
Good to hear bike riding helps. I have an ebike but haven't been on it for a while. I'm just trying to keep lymph moving after pelvic nodes removed. I won't be riding my bike for a while longer because of RT but I could go tomorrow ? 🤔 I'm 6 weeks after rad hysterectomy and only 4 doses into RT. Tomorrow is Sunday so no hospital . I have to admit I'm not confident about getting back on my bike. 😏

You can get mini trampoline with a horizontal bar? Might be worth an experiment if you're curious. If you're up to going into a store that is. I just ordered a mini trampoline with bungee instead of springs so it's supposed to be silent. There's a 30 day returns policy. I didn't pay much because I'm not sure how much I'll use it but I get heel pain from walking so it might be a good preventative physio along with yoga stretches and some walking. I'm just 4 doses into adjuvant pelvic RT for cc and I'm all about proactive. At least I feel like I'm doing something. 🙏

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can rebounding work without a rebounder? If I jump in place, does it have the same benefits? Or is the trampoline actually necessary for more lymphatic benefits?
@Better2BFree

IMHO, it is better to work with a "Rebounder"!!!!!!!! Jumping in place will put STRESS on your feet and legs; however, feel free to check with your health practitioner!!!

@shicruisin7004

Nope, can't do all of that. They say it is enough to bounce gently up and down on the trampoline, without your feet even lifting off the surface, to move your lymph fluid. For a minimum of 30 minutes and preferably 1 hour. I do it while watching a movie on my laptop, and the time passes in no time! This gentle bouncing acts as a pump which move your lymphatic fluid around. I'll do that, and work up to this.
@JGalegria

Yeah I'm sure you're also working your leg muscles and core at the same time. Gentle progression is good 👍
