As a US Navy Vet I found the addition of the sailor's heartwarming.

What a wonderful tribute to the men who walked the decks of that mighty ship.

Adding those figures sure gives another dimension to the model.

I love the PE parts. It's like, "Nice model Trumpeter. Now we make it better." with 6 million dollar man theme music in the background.

As always a pure masterpiece and a step beyond with the addition of the crew. Thank you for sharing this build

If my grandfather was still alive you would love this a great grandfather fought on the second world war in the Navy find the Japanese he was on the USS Hornet cv8 famous aircraft that did the Dual raid he was famous aircraft that did the Dual raid he was the flagman on that ship it was 17 years old God bless him and God bless every sailor and Airmen and soldier who gave their life God bless them

Can you say which stretch rigging you use? All the ones I have found so far are flat like miniature dental floss. It doesn't look good as you can see any twists in the thread and the flatness is obvious.
