You have been my fav Fit-fluencer for theeee longest time. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's since I was 12 years old (being 23 now) and I am so sad to hear that you too had to struggle with it but at the same time... you'll change the fitness world once again guiding us who have this disease to achieve our fitness and health goals while navigating Hashimoto. You're the first one (that I know off). No doctor ever told me how I needed to change my diet to experience less symptoms. Had to figure it all out myself, so I am happy we now get to do it together. Glad you're doing better!! can't wait for gluten & dairy free recipes on the app!!

I got my bachelor's in human nutrition. I'm a foodie at heart. Recently diagnosed with IBS and have had to follow a low FODMAP diet. I've realized gluten is a big trigger but unfortunately I've had to cut out and or reduce a lot of foods I love...I'm right there with you on how hard it is to change your diet and figure out what actually works best for you.

Some food ideas from a gluten free peer 😃 - Rice noodles and zoodles with salmon and peanut butter soja sauce 🤌 - Tacos with chicken paprika and tomato with avocado and salsa (tacos can be your best friend) - You can make pretty good savory waffles with chickpea flour and veggies all in the mixer (might need a bit of egg substitute) and they taste super good for this comfort food feeling - oven chicken marinated in Soja Sauce, orange, lime juice and honey (Life-changing, yes life-changing) with some rice and salad The trickiest part is always the desserts but: - dates with peanut butter and chocolate - dairy free yogurt mixed with frozen berries in the blender and some peanut butter on top The possibilities are endless. After some time you will get used to it and love the feeling of feeling better. Good luck 😊😊

I've been a follower of yours for longer than a year now and the experience always felt like having an inspiring big sister who lives far away. You haven't just helped me to commit to strength training but also to be kinder to myself. Food gradually became fun again, my body image improved and working out stopped giving me anxiety but helped me to build confidence. I hope you always remember that you have more than just touched the lives of so many people and how grateful they all are. You are the best, truly.

i absolutely feel the same. i had near given up on my relationship to my body, i just felt so hopeless in it all my life. but in such a short amount of time Krissy has flipped my thinking and given me massive support in areas i had so far dissociated from that i was completely in denial of the damage i was causing myself. the work she's doing goes deep, i hope she knows

Aw Krissy I got diagnosed with Celiac Disease last year and definitely had a little grieving period for the food I wouldn't be able to eat anymore, it was hard! But a year later now I feel so much better, healthier, happier, and discovered great gluten free alternatives along the way! Love your videos and wishing you the best! ❤❤❤

I had so much health and weight issues in the past until I found keto and learn a lot about the food and learn to read labels as my life depends on it, now I'm healthy again and not missing food that I know triggers my problems, leaning more in the carnivore side. I hate when something had a keto or this or other label, just learn what is good for me and what triggers a bad respposne and it really make my life better. Keep going Krissy, your mom is adorable!

I totally relate to your struggle, Krissy! Being diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), I have had to cut out dairy and it's been really hard, especially with hitting my protein goals. It's all about taking it easy and making adjustments step by step. Sending lots of love to you

love you krissy!! it must be very tough and a very big change but I'm so proud of you and thank you for sharing it with us all and continuing to be mine - and I'm sure so many others, biggest inspiration. You always make my day, and remind me to be kind and easy on myself, and the importance and privilege of taking care of my body. I'm like a new bitch every time I watch ur videos and I'm falling back, or not in the best mental state, i not only just feel comforted, but am reminded of what I'm working for, and of course we will have bad days but i guess it reminds us not to give up, and that we are not alone. you have such precious and amazing energy, it's like an older sister who I look up to. I am still on my healing gut journey and still after many doctor appointments trying to figure out which food groups trigger my issues. It's not easy but you sharing this reminds us all of what's possible and to keep going!! ... Also obsessed with the fit as always @pickleburper/ @healingwithkate 🤭

I am very sorry that you have been diagnosed with this, but I am so massively grateful for these videos. I also have hashimoto's, I used to compete in body fitness back in the day, and I love training and eating. But since diagnosis I have struggled to gain some muscle back and stick to gluten and dairy free. Your videos on this stuff are helping a lot thank you.

Thank you for being so open about your experience, Krissy! I also have an autoimmune disorder and had to stop eating wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, all nuts, and sesame. It really is so hard, so inconvenient, but like you said, it does make a big difference for your health! Just remember you're not alone in this, and it does get easier, slowly but surely, as you figure out ways to make the things you enjoy with ingredients that don't make you feel bad!

Your channel motivated me to start working out again. I'm 5 foot 6.5 inches (169 cm) and 142lbs (64.41kg) now. I was 150lbs (68kg) when I started. I still have a gut that makes me sad; however, every time I feel discouraged I watch a video from your channel. I'm really grateful you post your journey with fitness and health. It motivated me. Love getting the insight of different meals as I’m on my journey of learning about how to properly fuel my body and know what my body does and doesn’t like, so helpful once again 🫶🏻 also excited to have timeless waist band option to be high rise as with my long torso I love the material but leggings just don’t work for me😢 excited about that as I love having anything and everything OA👏🏻💖

I feel this so hard. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2020, had to switch up my diet to low FODMAP and it is HARD. It helps so much, but sticking to it is a real challenge - temptations everywhere!

Hi Krissy, I've been recently new to your KZfaq and literally watched every single one from two years ago and loved them all! I also have cut stuff out of my diet too...like sugar (alcohol and gummies) and cut out bread and feel so much better and not bloated! I'm glad to see Brett growing his hair out because I know you wanted him to😂I miss seeing your lower body sessions though and got good tips from them! xx

The food part gets easier as you go. Especially when you see how much better you feel. It’s insane how much of an effect food has on our whole body. But also give yourself grace. I have autoimmune issues as well it’s taken me several years to get fully gluten free. The dairy is the hardest. And no eggs girl that sucks!! I had to give up avocado too which sucks!

Hi Kristen: Kodos to you. It is great and brave that you putting out there your struggles. That’s made you stronger and also give me strength to not give up. I relate to you in the gluten-free and no dairy diet. However, I cannot have almond either and the eggs are starting bothering me! Flax egg is a good substitute for eggs on baking and I made my own bread and desserts to. I don’t miss it! Thank you and a big fan !

Listen girl! I have the same intolerances as you. Same problems. I bake my own bread and it’s delicious! It takes some time but it’s totally worth it. 🙏 the recipe is not complicated at all. 😊

I am in the same food rediscovery as you. The difference for me other energy levels get trashed, I get eczema reaction whenever gluten is present. And also seafood and fish has become a concern. Being a mom and wife makes this major food change so hard! 9/10 of our favorite restaurants I can’t eat from them anymore. And our home meals are super basic to where the family is bored. Change is so hard. Who knew gluten is literally in every food group imaginable. Work hard. Glad you’re feeling better.

Hi Krissy. Love your videos. I’ve had to be gluten free for 15 years due to an autoimmune disease. I really miss ‘real’ bread but the gluten free bakery (online) is amazing and you can also freeze it. Out of the supermarkets I think M&S does the best gluten free bread. For dairy free chocolate, I’d definitely recommend Nomo. Hope that’s helpful x

I feel you. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and I do cheat but try not to do it often. I have noticed a big difference for the best since cutting gluten and dairy. My skin, mood has improved, stomach much flatter, joints feeling nearly perfect. It’s amazing what food sensitivities and allergies will do… good luck

Omg I totally feel you I have celiacs and also seem to have a lot of reactions to a whole bunch of food. They are still searching for me. Can't eat dairy, red meat, and gluten either. Like you loved all food. Thank you for this video though ❤ always great to see someone with food ideas and a good health conscious diet.
