Today I go over a FULL tutorial on how to create an Etsy and print on demand store in 2023 & 2024 from starting on Etsy to integrating with Printify and uploading your first listing on Etsy. This is an Etsy shop beginner free course.

Hi. I requested access to your free pod course. However, as I haven't registered on your website before I can access the course through the PC. On the login box, there is not any option to create an account and without creating an account I don't have a password to grant me access. And the Kajabi platform is not free. You actually need to pay around 200 dollars per month. So, in the end, your course is not free? Or there is another way to access the free course, please? Thank you.

FYI: PNG is good for general images that you need a transparent background for like color images, stickers, etc. JPG is great for thumbnails and full color images you don't want to print on a product. SVG is great for line-art style like the doodle mom example, svg is infinitely scalable so you don't have to make the image 5000x5000, you can make it 256x256 and it can scale properly at all sizes.

I've watched two of your videos and I have to thank you for your time and effort to help us who are struggling to get our ETSY business off the ground. You mentioned you had speech challenges and people made negative comments. I am a proud Texan who travelled a lot and would get a lot of negative comments about my accent. You just keep what you are doing and those mean people do not deserve your kindness, your knowledge and your wise counselling. Keep at it and I love how you build my confidence.

I tried opening a Shopify store but it didn't work out because I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I have spent so much money on b.s. workshops that didn't help me at all. I feel exactly the same way. I'm just starting out and have an Etsy shop, tried shopify as well and it's extremely difficult, I agree. I also think that Heather is a sweet person who is able to laugh at herself and share that she too, doubts herself sometimes. Humility is great!

I am glad OUR path crossed because I just opened my Esty store after I watched this other lady's video on the same tutorial (ETSY/POD) and I was very much interested in venturing into this online business, but I got stacked along the way and didn't know what to do because this particular lady in question gave out her contact info but never returned any of my messages!!! so, when I came across your video/videos on the same topic, I just immediately subscribed to your channel because you seem to know what you doing and truly ready to mentor others as well. ETSY IS NOT WORTH IT! CLOSED MY SHOP FOR A WEEK AND A HALF - AND I MISSED MY VALENTINES PROMOTIONAL FOR T-SHIRTS, AND I SAW OTHER STORES STEALING MY DESIGNS. ETSY IS A HASBEEN PLATFORM. THE SQUEEZE ISN'T WORTH THE JUICE. THEN THEY STOPPED MY BUYERS FROM RECEIVING ANY MERCHANDISE, DELAYED AND WEEK THEN 2 WEEKS, THEN 3 WEEKS, NOW GOING ON 4 WEEKS. CONTACTED ETSY SUPPORT AND THEY SAID, THAT INBOX IS NOT MONITORED. FUNNY, NO SUPPORT FOR THE ETSY EMAIL SUPPORT INBOX, CLASSIC ETSY, NO SERIOUS BUSINESS WOULD INVEST TIME AND MONEY IN A LOWBROW BUSINESS SUCH AS ETSY.

hey Heather, before I begin, I like to wish you and your family a happy and healthy. very Merry Christmas as well as a very prosperous New Year. Heather, I am putting a comment here on your video to see if it would be possible that an older person can start a POD business whether it be shirts on the man cups, canvases, etc to be able to scale it enough to make a living from it. if it is possible, I am more than interested in beginning 2023 as a POD entrepreneur so that I can build it over time. The reason why I ask is that I am an older gentleman that was phased out of his career and right now is unemployed and needs to generate some income. I know that the income of what I used to make in my prior career to what a startup is are far and in between the possibilities. but I do like the fact that it is something that I can do whether at home at the library at a park from my phone and build it over time. as I head into retirement age at least it gives me something to look forward to. I would like to start the correct way and am reaching out to you because you seem to know what you are speaking about. are you willing to assist an older gentleman? I would hope that your answer would be yes because I would like to hit the ground running beginning in January 2023.

Hi Leah, I will try to do a day in the life next here! I have written it into my ideas. I will say: most of my day is actually KZfaq and ocaching now~ Etsy is only 30 minutes at most for customer service(when I began in posting, learning and listing it was 30 hours a week though so don't let this new daily routine fool you!). I am working on an exact takehome and taxes video soon as well. :)

I am sure you have created a great flow for yourself to earn that 30 minute management! So I will keep that in my pocket that it is possible after such a time 😊. I actually work a corporate job during the day. But do work from home so that will help. I am hoping I can manage both. I really truly hope to push through the growing pains into success. Reading through the comments, I might be the only tech-challenged retirement-age POD rookie? Heather, you provide a wealth of valuable knowledge yet I struggle to follow the speed at which you navigate the design segment. Stop, pausing, and rewinding ( dated myself didn't I?), is exhausting. I need a nap. Any chance you can make an AARP version of this Tutorial?
