@@levin9997 Yeah it’s weird that in the knock out stage very few people predict a draw even though it happens relatively often. And when they do they look at what country normally looks stronger on paper/ they favored before hand to win the regular way and then that country wins the penalty shoot out and makes it through to the next round. But if it’s a draw and there is a penalty shoot out… would it be so obvious that the country that was favored beforehand to win the match the regular way, would also win the penalty shoot out? If Germany, then probably yes 🙂 but otherwise you might as well predict the other country to go through.

Yes, and right now we know that not only did they win their friendly against Scotland with 4-0 but Canada and Iceland as well with the same numbers, so 12 goals in 3 matches, that’s actually a lot of goals. Also, The Netherland often do score at least one goal, so against Spain that would be more like a draw or perhaps a match with a higher goal count, but even if The Netherlands lose I think chances are bigger the match wouldn’t just end in 0-1 for Spain.

A lot of people say the Netherlands can’t score goals and that even was a thing back then (probably a leftover from the bad tournament four years earlier) which is a weird thing to say and that comeback showed otherwise in the most memorable way. I think it’s important to note that people tend to fixate on the Dutch strikers and then basically Memphis, even though there are a lot more players in different positions who can (and do) score and there are a number of players who can be very effective as subs to bring new energy and possibly score goals. They see Weghorst and on paper he doesn’t look great but as a sub late in the game he has proven he can be effective and the match Argentina was a great example.

Look at the teams Romania are undefeated against. Slovakia even obtained 22 points, just like Romania, but in a tougher group. They'd definitely be able to obtain that, probably more, in Romania's group. Ukraine too. Avoiding defeat versus Kosovo, Israel, Andorra, Belarus and this criminally out of form Switzerland means NOTHING.

i agree with you man, Germany had way better squad in the past but they couldn't win, examples 2008, 2010 and 2012. My prediction they will reach Quarterfinal as well maybe even semi but no further.
