It looked to me like he didn’t even realise how well he caught him and went in a clinch, then noticed he was the one holding him up, and basically just let him down slowly 😄

Damn, Davis is so good at being elusive and evading punches, he's perrying every jab or just slipping them and countering from angles. Impressive shit.

@Zulu Fight Channel That is far from "running", that is extremely high level stuff. Anyone who watches that fight and calls that "running," doesn't know how hard that is to do effectively. By the way, I am also a boxing fan, I just prefer MMA, watch and also dabble a little. I'm no badass but I wish everyone that watches would try it. Casual fans don't understand the difficulty until they get hit or try hitting someone.

@@blueis679 what isn't my opinion is that guys like Davis, Mousasi, Rampage, Larkin, Mitrione, Bader, MacDonald and Sonnen were never the best in the UFC yet they become top contenders and champions in Bellator. It's second rate.

Decent, but basically they sign people who can't quite cut it in the UFC. Ryan Bader is a prime example. Great LHW, but got killed by the top 5 LHW's when he was in the UFC..... now he's the double champ in Bellator. I do like Bellator, but it's still not quite there.

EVO6 You make a good point. Guess I’m sick of Dana, Conor, Jon, Till, that little Irish fellow that everyone says, copies Conor. I’m a huge fan of UFC, but their camera people shoot from the waist up, like I need to see a dude’s eyelashes! I’d like to see their legs too and not on a rewind. Bellator let us watch great fights free,so those are my beefs.

I remember wrestling the harrisburg cougars in hs. Phil Davis was one of 5 on the team. He always tech called our guy.. I think he wrestled 171. State champ obviously

This McGeary guy is an absolute beast are you kidding me? And with all that size and strength Phil Davis didn't just make it look as if there was no 4 inch height difference, but it seemed as if Phil had the size advantage just out fighting him from start to finish. Phil Davis is incredible

@@foran43 The rule about hands varies by state (this was in California), but as far as I know, having a knee down always counts as being a grounded fighter. I think Big John called this one wrong. At full speed it's hard to tell, but if you go frame-by-frame at 16:02, McGeary's right knee is clearly on the mat when the kick lands on his head.
