@jessica Cloud9 and why Danny didn't allow alcohol in the house. Only on occasion they would drink champagne. I don't think I saw them drinking in episodes and why Danny was extra careful with DJ driving and also how DJ was scared that Stephanie was going out with Gia and her friends driving all fast and furious.

It makes sense why Danny was so scared of DJ driving and why DJ was scared Stephanie was going out with Gia and her friends who were driving all fast and furious. All reckless driving And also how Danny and the boys didn't drink. I don't think I saw one of them have a drink in their hand in scenes. I mean occasionally but all the time. It showed how they were so strict and scared. They didn't allow alcohol in the house. Only for occasions.

I think people are forgetting that often producers use TV to teach peoples valuable lessons like DJ's eating disorder and why you shouldn't drive drunk. The idea isn't to rub people the wrong way, they're using the platform they have been given to teach important lessons to the watcher. Full house truly was a gem.

D.J had been through a lot after her mom died and because her Mom was killed by a drunk driver and D.J knew that Gia hanged out with boys who driven cars dangerously and that’s why D.J didn’t want Steph to die in a car accident. I'm really glad they decided to make Fuller House. Not only to reintroduce characters from this great show, but also to show how they've changed and grown up. Seeing Kimmy as an adult brings a great sense of relief that she didn't ruin her life and she found her passion. She never lost her quirky personality and silliness, but she fully grew into it and became even more fun and awesome.

One of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver. When my mom told me the news before school, I was stunned at first. As soon as I got to school, I burst into tears. One of my classmates hugged me and took me to a teacher who then took me to see the guidance counselor. My other teachers knew exactly how I felt because I wasn't showing my usual peppy optimism. I heard about it on the radio before going to class that morning, and only ended up going to one class that day. One of my friends got on the phone with the police as we were following them,we ended up following that person to where they live,the cops showed up and we gave all the details, they went up got the guy who drove completely drunk,my friend was worried that the drunken idiot was going to remember his car and one of the cops said don't worry the guy is way too drunk and can't even see straight so yeah my friends and I felt we did good and hopefully that guy would never do it again but who knows what that guy is even up to,we didn't know him,just saw him driving drunk and he probably did it again depending on the type of person he may be so yeah driving drunk is no laughing matter that guy could have hit someone and hurt them or killed them if he hit someone and thankfully he didn't.

@@MsButterflyheaven I remember the scene about Michelle and Teddy. He suggested they play house. Michelle wanted to be Uncle Jesse. Teddy explained to her that she has to play the mommy since he was going to play the daddy. She then tells him she doesn't know how to play the mommy because she doesn't have one.

0:13-0:18 Here's what she would say: DJ (voice breaking): You have no idea what I have to deal with when it comes to people getting drunk. You see, when I was only 10 years old, after Michelle was born, my mom got killed by a drunk driver. I was so devastated; it was the saddest day of my life. She and I are planning a lot of things together, but never got the chance. So many times I've seen kids with their mothers, sometimes I wish that, in my heart, I could do a lot of those things with my mother, but I wouldn't. I can't even count how many times I think about her and crying. So when I saw you getting drunk at that party, it reminds me about the pain I've suffered when I lost my mother. So you see, I've already suffered the pain of my mother's death by that drunk driver. I mean, losing my mother that way is bad, but losing my best friend in the same way would be worse. So please don't take your life for granted. I just wanted you to avoid the same fate as my mother did.

Jennifer Milanak Ikr? ✔ I could have sworn that the cause of Pam's death had been mentioned much earlier in the series, but I just now looked it up, and Season *8* was the first mention of "how" she died. This episode ("Under The Influence"). I remember we saw her at the end of the Season 2 in "Goodbye, Mr. Bear" (Season 2, Episode 18) in the home video of her bringing Michelle home from the hospital after being born. Michelle was said to be 6 months old when Pam died.

I love how Full House made sure that death from drunk driving wasn't treated as a capital crime. That it was and still is something that just happens. It's a health and social issue. Yes, people who get drunk or high enough to kill instantly someone with a car should be given a sentence, but stopping people from getting into that situation is more important than punishing someone who doesn't even remember how he or she got there. It's a fine line, really.
@eriktabers9282
@eriktabers9282 3 жыл бұрын
Not treating it as a capital crime is why it is still a huge problem. Grown adults know better, and should have a plan made before they drink if they are going to drink. If you choose to drink then you choose the full consequences of what happens once your drunk. If a drunk driver kills someone they deserve to be tried for murder, because they made the choice to drink and not give up their keys before hand.
@partyguy101ify

@@eriktabers9282 Murder? No. Not even second degree murder. Death from an accident is and should be treated as manslaughter. Nothing more. What about the 100+ million Americans who drive impaired every year? Should they be sent to prison?
@eriktabers9282
@eriktabers9282 3 жыл бұрын
A mature grown adult would not drive drunk or impaired. Only someone who is not fully mature or is selfish would choose to not take the responsibility of making sure they don't drive drunk. If you are going to drink then don't drive to where you are, give your keys to someone else, or have a DD. That's what a mature grown adults does. If you don't do that then you choose while you were sober to drink and drive and you choose the consequences of that decision.

@@partyguy101ify are you kidding me? How old are you? From the sounds of it, I’m guessing 18 or less who thinks there shouldn’t be consequences for TAKING A LIFE. Wait until you lose someone you love to someone being selfish and careless. Every single person who drinks and drives should be in jail that’s why it’s illegal. Damn This is definitely the dumbest thing I’ll ever read

Quite a few topics from throughout the series all came to a head in this scene. No alcohol in the house (or drinking altogether for that matter). D.J getting blamed for drinking beer at the school dance, when she was trying to get that kid (Kevin?) and his buddy to quit. Danny's fears of D.J getting her license and driving. The look of concern and (or) shock when he told Stephanie about Gia and the two other guys getting into a car crash. I know there has to be some more that I'm missing but I can't think of anymore at the moment. Edit: Uncle Jesse explaining how he was nervous about seeing D.J with a beer in her hand, and why he reacted the way he did. His sister being a victim to a drunk driver, and not wanting to see his niece drinking.

@colinmarr626 That's true. I never saw Fuller House, but I did see the clip when she unleashed on her son for drinking. She pretty much channeled Uncle Jesse. The only difference is that her son actually drank while underage, whereas DJ got the blame pinned on her. I don't blame DJ for not wanting alcohol in the house or anyone having anything to do with it because of what happened to Pam. The pain never goes away.
