I show you how to do a full LED swap on my wife's new 2017 Toyota Rav 4.
Its a great car but now its even better with the upgraded lighting.
I changed out the Maps, vanities, dome, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights.
All of the LEDs I used are from HIDextra.com and you can find them here:

Great tutorial. Just a tip for all, if you're replacing the map lights, don't turn the black housing for the bulb. The housing will go inside the entire map console. If that happens, pull down from the back of the map console until it pops out, find the black light housing, and twist it back into place. I know this from experience haha

Thanks so much for this video. I also have a 2017 RAV4 and want to change my cargo light. Now I know what size to get for the LED. I saved this video for future references on the other bulbs.

I changed all of my interior lights to LED, in my old Lexus SC300. I love the difference. You can do it in any car.

What about tail lights? Those red stripes would change the whole car value.

Did the same on my 2016 Rav4, but also did the tail lights and rear turn signals. Turn signals are now red instead of the ugly amber.

so the map light, dome ,cargo, vanity and the reverse lights are the same right? on the bottom it says stock size, what does it mean? whythe stock size for vanity is different. thanks

Great video. Bought these LEDs thinking it would be an upgrade but they're less bright than the stock bulbs so ended up returning them. Any idea on how to fix the push button in the map lights?

Yep bye the flat blade. But if they are dark the ones you have turn them around I still don’t recommend these.

How is the LED lights holding up? I have try to contact you in your website but I haven't received any response. I have a 2017 kia sportage and I was wondering where I will get a long lasting and brightest LED LIGHT bulbs for the interior, trunk and license plate.

any recommendations for the fog lights? i want leds there, i tried hids and it blew the fuse. also for the signal bulbs too

Hello, my Rav 4 is a base model without fog lights so I'm not 100% sure but I do have a 2016 4runner that has the same size fogs lights. They are technically h16 size however I'm using H11 size and they work just fine. Installed super easy and I made a video here theroninchronicle.com/razir-led-low-beams-and-fog-light-install-4runner/ I really like these bulbs a lot and they are water proof. Hope this helps! I installed the Auer led kit on my LE. It is not the cheapest option and a pain to install the harness since LE aren't pre-wired for fogs. They look and work really well.

It use H16, the 3 slaps are little smaller than H11, so if you cannot find H16, could use H11 but you need to cut the slaps follow the original H16.

How do you remove the trunk light from the cover, I remove the cover, but cannot get to the light, do you have to unclip something, afraid to break the cover, thanks.

problem already solved I guess? if not, take a screw driver and go underneath the gray cover from the shorter side, pull gently up while pushing the two clips holding the cover in the middle.

No I never had any issues. You just need to make sure you get bulbs that will fit the housings

Hello, no I didnt do the tail lights because I didnt think is was worth the extra time and money to mess with it. I didnt think it was as necessary, important or as big of an improvement compared to the other ones I did. If they ever burn out, i will def switch them to led. Thanks for watching!

I don't like the white light produce by the led. If they make warm color led bulb, then it's a go for me.

U definitely can. Look up Morimoto T10 led. It’d got a warm light output. And u will enjoy it

Bella B well that is your opinion. Some people like to have bright lights on the inside as well as having them white instead of yellow.

I know this was 5 years ago. But yes there is a need for replacing with led. It dictates the feel and the look of the inside of the vehicle. Having led interior lights is a must
