He went out of his way to call out Liam’s success on that play. That’s a leader recognizing someone who’s dealing with some failures and giving good positive reinforcement. Hopefully Liam gets some of his confidence back, because I think we’re going to need him more this season.

I'm an old Dolphins fan who grew up as a young boy with them...i still remember Shula's introductory press conference when a press member asked Shula to describe himself and his coaching style. Coach said "I'm about as subtle as a punch in the nose". We know what transpired thereafter. This team certainly has an excitement level unseen since Marino's early years, but until they prove they can beat a good team when it matters I won't be doing back flips. So far we have only played one team with a winning record and they handed us our heads. Yes you should beat the teams you out talent, but until you beat the good teams you aren't a championship level team. I am still waiting to see how the defense looks with Phillips and Ramsey both at 100% and starting.
