As of now, only one rider in AMA Motocross and Supercross history has hit the century mark for career wins and that man is Ricky Carmichael. However, Carmichael not only hit 100 career wins when you combine motocross and supercross, you can take all his supercross wins away and he'd still have over 100 career wins because he was that dominant in his decade-long career racing AMA Pro Motocross. On a sunny day in June at Budds Creek in 2007, Ricky Carmichael completed the quest for 100 by outdueling rival James Stewart to win the second moto and the overall at the Budds Creek National. Relive the entire moto now!

@@jmx318incredibly hard to call that one... RC's fitness, strength, tenacity and willingness to push beyond his own limits Vs Jett's ultimately higher skill level and consistent speed without apparently trying. Would Jett be able to ride that era bike on those hard pack tracks at that level of speed? Would RC be able to race today's rutted tracks and be as smooth yet fast as what Jett is doing? We will never know, it would be a hell of a race to watch though.

Ricky C is by far the best in motocross and Jeremy M in Supercross. I feel with they both should race again for people to see that age does not matter. I know that in 6 months of training Jeremy can be ready for Supercross and Ricky ready for motocross. The reason they retire is they get burned out of many years of race no and all the hell that goes with it. It’s not age! They loose the eye of the tiger and just don’t care as much if they win or loose. I just think it would be awesome to see them do what Mike Tyson is doing. Motocross is so similar to boxing by having to be fit as well as being able to think quick. I would say they need to race maybe every other race and I’m sure they would get paid huge money to do so. People would show up just to see them race even if they didn’t do very well. No one expects them to win every race. That’s not realistic but they still have what it takes to fight to the front

It doesn't look like Stew is holding Ricky back; rather, it looks like Ricky is just keeping up. Some line Stew is faster but Ricky is making it up in the corners, I think. But Ricky seems to be eying a pass at that section for some time. I noticed Ricky changed his line on that right corner after the downhill. He was loosing time there. He made that adjustment a few laps before he made the pass. That is the area he set up before the pass.

Can you believe Langston won the championship in that season haha. Obviously Ricky onky did a few races and Bubba crashed and hurt himself again. To be honest RC did Bubba a favour retiring in 2007 as would Bubba have ever won a 450 class championship if RC had kept racing for 3 or 4 years as he easily could of done.

Bikes sound silly! They really need to bring the 2 strokes back. It would be huge and the sport would be extremely popular and everyone would benefit from this. The AMA also needs to come up with a point system per state for amateurs. Each race a person earns points toward their year end ranking

They should both be racing now. They are only around 40 and that’s nothing. They could easily be in the top 5. What I think happens is in the mind. As we get older we don’t care whether we win or loose so it’s more about the mind. They both have some money saved so they don’t see a reason to battle it out
