Born and raised by a Southern Baptist minister, Dr. Mary Helen Hensley's life was completely transformed by her near-death experience in 1991. In this video, Mary Helen shares her full NDE account and its transformational impact on her life. She also shares how her father had a profound experience at the age of 85 as he approached his death, "After seeing a vision of his deceased father, who he was sure didn't qualify for heaven, he turned to his wife and said, "I've had it wrong all along. Everybody gets to go. You can't mess this thing up."
In December of 1991, Mary Helen Hensley was involved in a car accident that changed her life forever. Upon impact, traveling at more than seventy-five miles per hour, she felt time stall and temporarily left her body. She had a near death experience. In those moments, Mary Helen was consumed with sudden clarity. She realized she had the choice to either remain in her body or exit from the earth, allowing the remainder of the scene to unfold without feeling any pain. She chose to depart from her body-and enter heaven. What she discovered completely transformed her life.
In heaven, during her near-death experience, Mary Helen was welcomed by two angels who walked her through the place of light and encouraged her to go back to earth and help others. When she returned to earth, Mary Helen had a profound desire to live a life of service and quickly set out on a journey into metaphysical healing. Her adventures took her to Ireland, where she became a chiropractor, found love and new friendships, became a mother, and help numerous people.www.maryhelenhensley.comVideo Source: IANDS 2018 Conference

When she said, "You can't mess this thing up." I was overcome in tears and happiness. I was raised a pentecostal Christian and as of last year I became just spiritual because of their strict beliefs I could never live up to the standard of their beliefs.

I had an NDE too and I can relate with a lot of what she is saying. I left my body too before any physical trauma had a chance to take place, and I had zero concern for my physical body. And I was still me, but was just an energy with no physical body. And yes, you can feel what others are feeling.

I throughly enjoyed listening to her she is a great story teller and it was like l could feel her spirit as I was listening. Being a former seminary student and of course being a Christian 4 over 50 years, I did take issue when she said everyone will reach the Kingdom. I was always thought that unless u except Jesus as your savior and lord you won't get in. What about those who have committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit the word makes it clear they will definitely not see the Kingdom. Again if everyone makes it why does the word tell is that Lucifer was kicked out of heaven along with a third of the angels. I guess I will be like her dad and be surprised if everyone makes it, including the likes of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Charles Manson and other who have made a mockery of Gods word and never repented. Yes I think I will hold on to my beliefs about that one. Now when she talked about that energy field and light radiating from one's body I totally agreed with that even though 4 me I can pick up on bad energy even if l haven't seen light resonating from there body. With all that being said she was truly a delight to listen to.... Thank you so much 4 sharing her story and other people's NDE.🙏

The “violence” right before death is common. Saw it with my mom and brother. The hospital staff thought nothing of the behavior as it seems it’s the last ditch attempt to overcome the inevitable/death and they were used to it. Wish someone told me prior as it’s out of the ordinary for many and often after visitors leave. It is an honor to be with someone as they transition.

I watch these NDE from time to time because I think I had one as a youth. Her's is the most like mine I have heard. As an adult now it is kind of unknown. Shakes me up as I do not know what is out there. Leaves me bewildered. It was not religious as the Bible says. No angels, white robes, etc. No bright lights, no judgement day, etc... I am religious now as I believe in Jesus. But was not raised religious. When I was very little, I remember being in great pain. All of a sudden I was totally out of pain and in this great feeling. Hard to explain as nothing I have felt compares to it. But I could sense tremendous love, peaceful feeling beyond imagination. I rose out of my body, could see myself down on the floor. There were these beings there. I did not recognize them. Very much like any stranger you would meet. Male, there were multiply beings but I am not sure how many. They seemed very close to me, a few feet away at most. Between 5-10 I would estimate. I tried to talk to them but they never answered. They looked right at me but never spoke back. They were was looking down on what was going on. Had a look of great concern on their face. Lasted best I could estimate between a few seconds to very few minutes. Next I knew I was in pain again. When I was an adult out of the blue my mother told me I fell one time as a kid. She said she picked me up, rocked me. I came out of it a crying. She said I was turning purple. I never put two and two together at the time. But years later I think this was the same event. When I was about 7 or 8, I remember her taking me for x-rays on my torso. As I have a slight bump extruding from a bone in my upper rib cage. I suspect it was from this fall. When I was about 10-12, I asked one of my childhood friends if he had ever left his body and rose above ground. He said it had never happened to him. Before that I thought it happened to most everybody.

Yesss...death has no religion. It was a blast listening to you Mary. I hope one day we cross paths. I'm a preacher's daughter also, and I know we've all been brainwashed about heaven and hell. Even as a child I always thought to myself, "why would a loving God send someone to burn for eternity?"...Im a researcher by nature and come to find out the Bible we read today is full of mistranslations, things added and some taken away purposely for power and control. The mistranslations are beyond wild. Look up the "Epic Tale of Gilgamesh"...it will make you think.

All near death experiences are similar, not because we are on our way to heaven but because the brain is shutting down and and starting the shutdown procedure. Science has not discovered what causes consciousness or dreams, but neurologists have observed brain activity for seconds when the heart has stopped. I have learned to remember the fact that I am dreaming and am able to influence the dream. Mary Helen Hensley will never understand what in fact she has experienced because of the indoctrination she had since early childhood.

It is really refreshing to hear you say this. You are correct. From what Christianity tries to teach people is that we are all born sinners. Evil from the moment we are born not worthy of love. And if you don’t believe in an event that happened a few thousand years ago and from what the Bible says only a few hundred people witnessed, well then you’re going to burn in hell for eternity. Let’s just assume God had to kill his own son in order to forgive us of our sins. But then in order to save you you have to believe in a historical person and an historical event, specifically the resurrection for which you cannot verify yourself. Yeah apparently they think God is twisted and demented and would punish you for using your free will. Or punish a child that was born into an atheist family and is an involved in a car wreck and leaves the earth without repenting their sins or converting to a man-made religion. I actually think it’s pretty abusive to teach children this. It causes a lot of anxiety in kids. Especially the churches that teach the rapture. Give a 10 year old worrying like will I reach puberty before the second coming? First of all the rapture is not in the Bible. It only came about in the 1800s via a man named John Darby. The original word hell was translated from is Gayhanna. Gayhanna is an actual place in Jerusalem. You can point to it on a map. It’s still exist. It was basically the cities trash dump. A fire pit if you will. The worst thing a Jewish person could experience would be being burnt and not having their physical body after they die. Jewish people Believe that the body belongs to God and not the individual and they needed to go to Heaven. That did change in 1986 but I digress. Jesus spoke in parables. You have to understand that Bible was not written by God but rather inspired by. A channeled work. However today as you see just by this near death experience Christians go nuts over channeling. They think it’s demonic. Yeah they read a book and follow it that’s channel. Bible also means library. It’s a collection of works. Compiled over a council where they picked and chose what people would follow as their doctrine. Men with agenda. Whether a good or a bad agenda an agenda nonetheless. I am not a religious person as you can see. But the spirituality in the enlightened words of people like Jesus in the Bible have been distorted by humanity that does carry those lower darker vibrations and not the pure vibrations of love and light. Kingdom of heaven lies within in the kingdom of heaven is now. Not at some later date after you die. The only judgment we experience is the judgment we put on ourselves. People wanna view themselves as separate and less than all there is but I wish they could see themselves as the perfect beings they are worthy of love. The creators of their experience. They are so free they can choose bondage.

After listening to NDEs for years about heaven, hell, God, Jesus, angels ... it seems to me that it’s like we create our own experience when we die. For me personally I’m not sure if it’s good or bad. I say that because I would so like to believe that when we go home to heaven that there is the creator GOD and Jesus and all the comforts of the Bible are just like it’s written. But on the other end for me, not only do I want to experience this but I want to be somewhere beautiful by the River of life and be surrounded by all my animal friends that have passed before me and all my loved ones of course. It’s confusing though, because everyone’s is so so different. I wish the foundation was the same for everyone because it would make me sad to think that I would not see Jesus or the creator. I don’t know.... and what about all those people who’ve had horrific Hell experiences and the ones being in dark lonely places. Why would anyone ever create an experience like that for themselves.... I want someone to download all the answers to my questions ❤️

I think there are thousands of entry points into heaven, which is why everyone’s experience is totally different. Hers had to do with music bc it made sense to her personally. A book you would love is the NDE of Howard Storm.

Awesome talk! I'm a former Baptist (and former hell fearer) so it was wonderful to hear about a Baptist preacher realizing that everyone gets to go. (Side note: I have only once seen someone's auric field lit up like you described. It was so big and vibrant that I thought it was kinda neat- this is the first time I've ever heard that it might be before someone dies. This was just a person I met at a conference, so I have no idea.)

Ok heard enough. Time to listen to a different one. Talk about lying or great deception thus is it. She mocks Christ not being there then she says she is god ?? !! Lol. And people are praising her story ?? She chose to come back and she likes it here. ?? !! That’s not what everyone else says Wake up people this lady is a % who is lying She mentions the colors but notice how she breezes right over their importance ? I have never seen anyone blow over that. I was trained in law enforcement to recognize deception and this is it f I ever have seen it. I listen to hundreds maybe thousands of NDE and only 2 times have I ever felt the person was making it up and this is one of them. She has narcissistic traits and everything she says is not only against scripture ( 98% of NDE are in fact NOT ) Everyone who loves hearing testimony of NDE it’s normal as we were made in the image of God and have a natural compass to Him. But if you believe in good you have to believe evil exist and scripture says he is the god of this earth and dwells in our atmosphere No one should just blindly Accept all these stories are true There are people who have the gift of speech and persuasion and she has both

Doesn’t mean we SHOULD or are allowed to I think these spirits take advantage of these people to mislead. So they can bring it forward and mislead the rest of us Notice how it’s always a counter teaching to Christ. No judgement. Everyone is saved. No punishment. No right no wrong. Jesus is maybe one way. Just so touching and what a marvelous storyteller! What a gift as I, too, see how there is that of god within all of us. Regardless of who you are. I believe that’s why empaths are so attuned to those around them and often slip into the desire to make others feel better. Because if we all have god within us, when we join, so much genuine “magic” occurs.

Not meant to be a criticism to Ms Hensley's talk. Just a few perspectives that I think are essential to consider when we ponder about the afterlife, especially about the message that "everybody will end up in heaven": 1. One cannot jump from seeing Ms Hensley's grandpa in the heavenly bliss, or from NDE episodes alone for that matter, to proclaiming that everybody will end up in heaven, any more than one can infer that having one acquitted person on the street means that prisons will be empty. One cannot take a specific case and universalize it to all. 2. An NDE offers at best some episodes that convey certain aspects about the afterlife for an individual. However, it is reasonable to believe that the afterlife is a reality that is much bigger than what NDE's can convey. After all, many more entered the afterlife without the opportunity to come back to tell their stories. So again be careful not to over universalize NDE's as if we can then make a lot of claims about what the afterlife is like. If everybody will end up in the heavenly bliss, why bother being good at all in this life? Here is the danger: If one thinks like that, one might be surprised in finding that one ends up somewhere else other than the heavenly bliss and does not have the opportunity to come back to tell the story. Somehow we feel that a heaven that can be grasped by our puny minds is not really quite heaven, yet.

We will all end up there. It may take a few life's or thousands. We may go to a worse earth or a better one in our next life. As to seeing loved ones time is not the same up there. That can be planned in advance. So mom dies and 40 years later you see her but she saw you that very same day. It does not actually mean she was up there for 40 years.

@@Laurenski67 Most of these I watched that went to Hell called on God in one name or another, often Jesus and were rescued. Then the typical NDE most of the time. Some I am rather sure are fake NDE's to push religious beliefs. Although LOVE made it clear in mine that LOVE was careful not to change religious beliefs LOVE had created to help people. In mine I may have gone down to Hell briefly. I do not remember much about it. Just I did not see a tunnel of light or much at all. I just called out and immediately felt this LOVE that was immense and I asked is there a Jesus. No was the answer. I had stopped believing in Jesus three years prior. I kept the promise to call out to Jesus just in case I was wrong. Then the discussion where LOVE tried to get me to pass on but eventually I choose to live on. There horrible years passed on. Why LOVE wanted me to pass on and avoid those years. I am thankfully past that. Losing my wife devastated me and also a problem with a daughter with mental illness.

I just wanted to say that (after watching many hundreds of NDE videos) that this one is the best I've ever seen. Her experience has most of the more fascinating aspects of one and the way she talks about her experience is amazing, it's a very good "summary" for anyone new to the phenomena (just listen to her and imagine yourself being in that situation). This is all very real and there is a huge abundance of information about NDE and the afterlife out there now and it's very important that people learn about this. In the coming years this knowledge will be KEY to understand!

Interesting that she recognized we're all fractals of the one consciousness. Also, she made a couple of references to touching the person's hard drive. I discovered that what feels like a self/mind/personality is just a program; a download.

Exactly. We are all energy. We are all energy vibrating at a certain density which gives us the appearance of solid matter. Nothing is. Everything is energy. What you are is pure consciousness/awareness. The observer of your thoughts and feelings. There is no separate energy. All energy is one. We are energy having temporary experiences as an individual personality. I use the analogy of an ocean and a wave. Let’s say everything that is, is the ocean. A wave experience itself as an individual wave and then when it’s time is done, it returns to the ocean. It never left the ocean. It was never separate from the ocean. It just had a temporary experience as a wave. You are not your body. You don’t have the same body that you had when you were first born. You don’t have the body you as you had at 10, 20, 40, 70 etc. You are not your body. Your body is basically a sensory device. It’s how concepts can be experienced. Having a body gives you many abilities. Gives you the ability in most cases but not all to see here to touch to taste and move about our three-dimensional space. You have many more abilities but I won’t get into that right now. You are not your thoughts. Your thoughts are not permanent. Your thoughts do not make you who you are. Your thoughts are simply an accumulation of experiences and the perception or judgements you formed around those experiences, saved into your brain which is similar to a hard drive. Although your perceptions and beliefs do manifest outwardly in your life. Everything external it is just a reflection of what you’re feeling/ believing inward, either consciously or unconsciously. You are not your feelings. Your feelings are not permanent they come and go. Energy is swirling all around us. Energy is us. Energy moves through us energy surrounds us. We are energy. Feelings are energy in your body. with that said, energy can get blocked in the body. You are pure consciousness/pure awareness. You are the observer of your thoughts and feelings.

It's weird I was thinking about today a very religious person I grew up around in the deep south who a couple years ago had a massive crying and begging melt down as she was dying of a massive heart attack. She was begging the doctors to save her and expressing extreme fear about dying. Calling out to Jesus to save her and she kept losing consciousness and then coning back to alertness screaming again. She died there in the E.R., while they did everything to save her. I was thinking about it today. How strange it is that someone who is very ultra religious to be that frightened. ❤
