OIL USED: 1.7L of MOTUL 7100 4T 15W-50 Full Synthetic
OIL BOLT: H8 hex - torque to 20Nm/14ft-lbs
OIL BOLT Crush Washer: 16x20x1.5 aluminum crush washer
OIL FILTER: HIFLO FILTRO HF147 - hand tight or torque to 11Nm/8ft-lbs
SKID PLATE: 4x M12 bolts - torque to 9-10Nm or 7 ft-lbs

I ordered an oil change kit from amazon and got 15w50. I don't think it matters much. As long as there is good oil in it. Change it every year guys just for longevity and peace of mind.

What about the maintenance reset module under the seat? Does it void the extended warranty if you don't reset it?

but the manual calls for 4W40 oil. is there benefit to using 15W50?

Is this engine oil better than BMW advantec which lasts like 10000kms
