lip kits don't exist for the 4 lol atleast they haven't the past 15 years.

@503tradingcards people have tried it looks terrible lol. im in the process of making one for them tho. Its a copy of the lip from GT7. also Devins 4 is missing the oem lower lip which doesn't help the look.

Just finished the whole video: Check the thrust measurements on the crank pulley... it may have walked. If it walked, it would kill the crank sensor and thus won't run. Not saying it's that for sure, but it's a start.

Love the " new " Evo. I think both the older Evos and Subarus look far superior to the new ones. I have a 2015 STI just now, same as Bobbi's, but I had a 2005 Impreza STI before and would have that back in a heartbeat. Really looking forward to this build.

@@GHOSTERING nobody is going to swap am STI with a V8 or something. Maybe you meant big turbo but "big engine" makes no sense. There's 1000hp STIs running around

@@Augie.. Some people already do that. But it's not the objective that my friend wanna do with is WRX (not an STI). For now his tranny decide to fucked up and the forks is lock on 4 gears on neutral position. Subaru thing

Came for EVO and Subi content and you never disappoint, the fact you got an EVO 4 shows what you have wanted for a long time even though the 8 and 9s are the more popular choice. To go with the EVO 5 as well, that's to good.... all you need after that is a nice classic GC8 WRX. Keep it up man, cant wait for the future content!

Gotta love the content you can relate too ...this is why i love this channel and congratulations on grabbing the evo 4 its going to be sick once you get it running and re paint it and I think the oem plus build again would be fun to watch !! Didn't even want this video to end lol hoping you were going to figure out the issue but this is why we look forward to the next upcoming videos but none the less things sick build can't wait to see more of it !!

Once you have a front lip it will bring the car together oem ones are getting rare or at least $$$ , evo 4s have rear diffs made of glass but evo x crown n pinion fit and make them strong, also evo 9 turbo is a great mod for them :) so excited for this build

I'm very stoked for this build definitely different from the usual evo 8 9 or X you normally build. But that's why I feel this one is gonna be at the top of the list only one I'm not sure if it'll be better than for me is the hyper blue evo 8 I loved that car

I was sad that the blue one got sold but the new one is cool! I have had my gc8 subaru 22 years now and counting. I love the older japanese cars! best of luck with this one! will turn out awesome like always!

Hey bro love watching your Evo contents, so stoked you own an old skool Evo. It's a real pity that the US or Canada never received any of the first generation Evos 1 to 3 including the godfather of Evos theVR4 galant and to be honest they were built in my opinion alot stronger than the recent models and everything was mechanical and obviously less HP. I agree EVO 5 is the beez neez. Anyways loving the videos excited to see what the end result on VI. 🤙

Hell yeah, I was so sad when you sold the blue 8 as it was one of my favorites, but then here ya go getting a 4 and I feel like I’ve fell in love all over again. Although one downside even though I love the 4 is that it reminds me of a Mitsubishi Mirage cause their based on the same chasis but I can’t un see it 😂😂 look forward to the build series imo full restore but with a twist would be sick.

The rs has the light weight reduction tier, the gsr has all the creature comforts. You got the best one, the rs has two different drives by the way.

the RS version of any evo is considered better, it's more rare and sought after to. no crappy AYC, is lighter (200lbs), proper diff, no ABS, closer ratio gearbox and quicker rack ect

Stoked for you, Devin! If u were to paint it, Id suggest keeping it in its factory color. Older evo’s are very iconic and having mods that are somehow period correct and JDM makes it even more tastier. Some Te37s OGs or some Enkeis would be nice

Keep her oem with just full paint but re do all suspension and also paint the bottom to protect any more rust, what I nice classic item, do a photo shoot with this Evo and your supra side by side, These two are most definetly keepers. Sad to see the blue Evo gone that was most epic built and a good show car. Keep it up Devin thanks for the great content all of us watching are learning with you all the way.

Full send like the 8 strip it right down and do it all from the bottom up,big power engine breaks suspension body kit full paint including the door jams engine bay ect some nice white WRC rims and re do the recaro interior 😎🙌🏻🙌🏻

Really excited with this one. I almost bought a IV a couple of weeks ago but I ended up getting a r33 instead. Thinking maybe I should have gotten the Evo to learn from your build.
