Yes, France have benefitted from their African immigrants and yes they have helped push France over the top. Plenty of nations have African immigrants and descendants. England, Brazil, USA, Netherlands, Germany, etc. Nobody has benefitted as much as France over the last 24 years. They tried to score after that, but they were not clinical enough, and unfortunately the coach made too many unnecessary subs (there was no reason to take out En-Nesyri to bring in that Hamdallah guy, who clearly didn't belong at this level). France didn't look scary, and Messi/Alvarez will be far more clinical than Hamdallah.
