I’ve been having a problem where as I’m going for the triangle off meat hook my teammate slips out the back door before I get my leg through. It’s not every time but Is this a common occurrence for people or does it sound like I’m just I missing a detail on controlling him?

For sure, that’s a common problem. Few things.. so one is getting better at catching them from pulling out with your free non meat hook arm.. two is going to a gogo clinch when they pull out.. and three is hitting that omoplata.. but the last two, you needed the arm zombied for that to be an option.. I could make a vid on this problem.

@@BenEddy makes sense, also brings up a further question if you don’t mind. So to prevent them from slipping would you reach with the non meat hook arm towards their upper arm/tricep or use them slipping essentially as clearing the head THEN use the non meat hook arm to grab the back of their neck for the gogo clinch? (I usually bail to carni if they slip but definitely need to know more of the ins and outs of the position) Also thank you so much for responding

@@sunrider98_85 yes to both.. non meat hook hand grabs the tricep to catch them , and if they are too far it’s the setup for the gogo.. and if that’s too far it’s the setup for the omo. You can’t carni cause your leg is on top their shoulders for the triangle.. also really try and hold them with your meat hook hand .. hold their head. And jam your triangle leg in for the reverse triangle first to catch and hold them.
