That's why when people try to compare where slavery existed elsewhere it falls flat. The transatlantic slave trade stole EVERYTHING from African people. They stole their lives, their culture, their religion, even their names. Forcefully wiped away, and they were taken far enough away that they could never return. This was never done before. They were minderased and then everything was just replaced with pain with no way out.

Seeing Nick Cannon's utter respect for KRS, seeing him exude complete gratitude for being in his presence, seeing that non-stop cheesing smile on his face... It made me realize that he's a true head and not just another one of these hollywood clowns feeding off of the culture for their own personal gain. Thank you so much KRS and Nick for sharing your knowledge and love with the world. Respect ✊

Not gonna lie, Nick Cannon puts up a front for this show but he is very one minded. All in his agenda is to promote black power trying to push down white people. Maybe he should understand that the black man needs more sunlight to absorb vitamin D than the others, and not that you are somehow born with an infinite storage of it. Laughing insecurely etc just a big tell, see in his big googlie eyes when he has kids from different mothers doing... smh

This was easily the best interview I have ever watched. Soooo much wisdom and openness to limitless possibilities in the direction of ushering in our next leaders. I agree that universal law should be the foundation, and starting point, and agreement in law and principles, to establish the ethos of our society. I got spirit chills several times watching this but specifically when KRS1 spoke the bob marley quote. It was like the words pierced my soul with so much power. 🔥 thank y’all for this wisdom and sharing your energy !!

Can you trust a man who says that there was no LEADERSHIP in African civilizations 5:40 when there's plenty of African leaders all through African history? Aksum, Egypt, Nigeria, Mali dynasty,... can you trust a man who makes up a false meaning for a word 21:49 just to add up a sense of wisdom to his discourse? Demon's etymological origin comes from greek, your ancestors never used that word. Demon doesn't mean no man, demon means spirit who divides. Let me explain what's happening here, long story short, someone thinks it's better to use the ignorance of people to make them believe that they're in front of a God, than tell them the truth, because the bag is in the fantasy. Mixing truths with lies, a good tactic but not enough to fool everybody.

@@JJ-555 5:40 do you think that there was no leadership in African civilizations? Good acronym, with a deep and hard meaning to apply to the self. I would like to see a video of KRS looking at himself and all the misinfo he spread in this Cannon's Class. He stated that African civilizations had no leadership, and that's completely false, e.g Egypt, Ethiopia, Mali.... He stated that demon means ''no man'', and that's completely false, demon etymology is from Greek origin, and means ''lesser spirit'', no African tribe or people never used such a word... it's a shame that no one take time in contrasting the things someone say because he is some famous rapper.

Why would you feel he specifically talking to you and that is all what it is a unlogical emotion you convince yourself with. Sorry to sound so harsh but I hate when my people especially the women put these artists on a pedestal in some God like manner being totally oblivious to the rhetoric krs-1 is talking about because if he was a white man y'all would notice the disrespect he has for his own people concerning our own history. It really blows my mind how y'all can't notice he worship the devil and stick up for pedophiles how y'all don't care about that blows my mind.

BS. The prophet is in the wrong home with the wrong people if that's the case. Everything in that book isn't gospel, it was written by men with opinions that isn't true in all aspects nor for all experiences. Think more and you'll find your own debunks from stuff force-fed to you in that book.

@@ojames1983 Dude, there is alot of truth in that book. The funny thing is, we experience things from the book today. Jesus had to be Black He did things we do. A prophet talks things into existence. Didn't MLK do that? Didn't 2pac do that, even with his own death? You can grow up with someone all your life and know alot more than him ,and the jealousy kicks in. It's always somebody you know right under you with envy in their heart. You can grow up in a neighborhood all of your life and know everybody. Get rich and then watch them turn on you. You can still be the same good hearted dude, but they'll still turn on you. We deal with the Jesus Christ situations everyday. So a prophet isn't welcome in his own home. If the light shines on me and blesses me to see things clearly and faster than most, somebody will pretend to seek my visions and take credit for them. That's why people say we're god's because we are of him. We're not trying to be worshipped, but he lives inside of us. Nipsey Hussle was killed in his own community by someone he knew for doing the right thing. How many times have we seen this? Too many,so Christ has to be real.

@@nawfsidehtown2927 If people go trough the things christ goes through then that means everyone has the potential to be christ. For me, it's not that Christ is real or contrived it's that we are all capable of being prophets etc. There is no Single Christ figure.
