The Warriors had the #23 pick in the Jokic draft but traded it away to Utah, so they could unload bad picks from the past to Utah and get the guy they really wanted: Andre Iguodala. Denver had the #41 pick and got Jokic.

I'm a Lakers fan but I got to admire what Jokic did after the game.. hugging all the Heat players after the buzzer sounded instead of jumping, celebrating.. getting the finals MVP trophy then giving it to his coach instead of him holding on to it and standing way behind the team on the picture taking tells you that this man is a team first guy.. mad respect for the Joker.. as a Basketball fan, love seeing moments like this! And Jokic left the FMVP on the table, and didn't touch or have thought of wanting it afterwards. On that final photograph, Brown was looking for Jokic and finally gave it to Coach Malone to hold while Jokic (the best player in world) was just on extreme end of the podium. I have never seen that before. All he cared about was his family and his kid, man this guy is just different 😮❤❤

Warriors fan here. Jokic is the truth and I’m genuinely so happy for him and the Nuggets. I said once we lost to LA I wanted Jokic to win it all. That was the most dominant playoff run I can remember from a single player. Incredible incredible basketball player Jokic is. Oh and my fellow Bay Area native Aaron Gordon. That’s what’s up. He reminded me of Wiggins in last years finals. Did everything for Denver.

If you love basketball, there's absolutely nothing not to love about this team. This was a great team, Jokic was incredible, Murray proved he's forreal, as well as the whole team clicking on all cylinders. All the role players were a star in their role. They took no short cuts and they worked hard to be where they are now. Also, shout out to coach Malone, a great coach and well deserve. Congratulations to the Denver Nuggets.
