Excellent - Branch engine 4561 - featured numerous times in the film went to Barry and was rescued by the West Somerset Railway Association in September 1975 and in which I have an £80 (1975 value) shareholding. After many years of a major overhaul I hope it will be returned to steam soon

When you see and experience the clogged up roads of the South Hams it makes you wonder why there was a rush to close the branch instead of mothballing it and using it today, especially freight. The 60s BR were very short-sighted@@AarchiveRailways
