I feel like the sister should have gotten the point when she realized how much it hurt her to be called by a name she doesn't associate with anymore, crazy how instead of just being like "okay, I understand, I've been and asshole." And apologizing they went even further.

The sister calling the storyteller their full first name too just sounds like she's inconveniencing herself. They are completely ok with their name, it's just a lot to say. It's really a problem for the person saying it.

Native American here, it is not in most tribe’s nature to be transphobic, and mine specifically(nimipu and olglala Lakota) celebrate trans people for their unique role in the tribe

For all the people who don’t wanna watch the full thing Eva is now calling OP by her full first name which op doesn’t really care because op likes her first name (her nicknames her ad or Lexi btw) well the family caught on with the thing so now all the family is calling themselves and the rest of the family by their full names like the father isn’t frank he’s Franklyn etc which has turned Eva away which was the plan I’ll finish the rest later
