I bought a 2018 RAM 3500 in Edmonton, AB, Canada, with the Cummins 6.7L high output diesel, dually with Aisin transmission, 4:10 gears, in Limited trim with crew cab and 8 foot box. I've owned it since September of 2019, so 7 months now. It was worth every penny I paid for it, but keep in mind, I only paid $70,000 Canadian, which is about $53,000 U.S. The truck was a year old, and only had 23,000 km on it, so 14,000 miles.......barely broken in!!! The interior was in mint condition, and the exterior just had a few chips in the paint........excellent condition overall. I pulled the window sticker on the truck, and it originally retailed for $99,999.00 Canadian, so essentially I bought it for $29,000.00 less than new and because I traded in my '17 Z06/07 Vette on it, I didn't have to pay taxes. You only pay taxes on the difference between your trade-in and the purchase price. When you consider 10% tax on $99,999.00 Canadian, you are looking at a total vehicle price of $110K. I basically saved $40K..... If you have to own new.......fine. If you're willing to wait a year........do that........

I’d buy it but I would wait until the end of the year when 2021’s are about to hit the dealerships plus that way you would most likely be able to buy the truck for mid to high 70’s. Also if you buy a Ram with the backup alarm it can be turned off. Thanks for sharing Ben.

Your review of these trucks need to include the payload numbers on the drivers door jamb. Great info to share for those of us that have trailers.

My 21 Mega Cab 2500 Limited has the $200 back up alert option. It’s freaking awesome. Great for when backing up trailers. Was real close to getting the DRW 3500.

I got a white 2020 limited dually white black interior. Love it and trust me once the engine starts breaking in the horse's come out to play.

I have a 2008 Dodge ram 2500 mega cab 4 x 4 with the 5.7 L hemi and I must say the crew cab is good but the mega cab is a whole Nother level because you can recline the seat and overall I’m pretty sure it just has more legroom people say it doesn’t but it definitely seems to God bless y’all.

That is perfection, in Australia we get a dual cab landcruiser with a single turbo 4.5l V8, 5 speed manual transmission, wind up windows, vinyl interior, no cameras no sensors, no exhaust brake and well that's about it. all for around $120,000, oh it can tow a whopping 3500kg or 7,700lbs, a 2010 ram 3500 costs $125,000 here!

I have a 2018 Ram 3500 Limited Mega Cab and I love it! I pull a 42 ft fifth wheel camper and this truck doesn't even know it's back there! But....The new 2020 models are so much nicer! A lot of money! Yes! But you get what you pay for!

Love my 2019 drw 3500 tradesman long bed. Same power train, but 1/3 the price. And, most importantly, no bells and whistles that I dont need , so less prone to break downs. As a plus I have more payload capacity.

It’s smart that ram put back up alarm but I think it should only be a feature on tow packages. Makes sense because your backing up long trailer. For just driving truck alone with a back up alarm it can get annoying. It is a big truck. I like and don’t like it I guess lol

My 2019 Ram cost $76,000. It's a 5500 single cab with a custom sleeper, set up for max towing, with the SLT package and every option on the build sheet. (The new car manager was an idiot. Ambulance package with leather? WTF?) So what do you get for that extra $14,000? You trade the sleeper cab (with bunk, microwave and shore power hookup) for 2 extra doors. You get a few electronic gizmos that don't cost Fiat a dime. It's just programming. And yes, I DO have the LED light package. Want to save a ton? Get your 1-ton Limited CHASSIS CAB and put a pickup bed on it. Far less money.

People buy these and install 5,700 lb 3 slide out cabover camper in the back and tour alaska in it. Not a bad way to see alaska, I want to do it myself! Supposedly it can save you almost 10,000 on the State ferry because they charge by the length so if you drove an RV expect to pay a huge chunk of money to get Alaska versus the 3500 6.7 Ram which probably is easier to resell once your done ✅

About the sickest and fanciest dually I've ever seen. Like YACHT FANCY! Ram really came along way with fancy looks. And of course I've been a Ford and Ram fan before fancy looks were their middle name of the high dollar trims.

I had a 2018 Ram 3500 Mega Cab and it was an awesome truck, however the Nexus tires on it was terrible. You pay 90k for a truck it better come with Goodyears or Michelins....

After the warranty is done and the emissions system has caused engine problems you have a repair bill the price of the truck. As far as I know these things can’t be bulletproofed.

I hope that fifth wheel is removable. What if you need to haul lumber or something.
