Why is she playing around with that wrist brace.😂 Waving it all in front of the board. It must not hurt that much.

As hard as it was to loose my mother 4wks after being told she was terminal and I only had 2wks with her cuz 2 of those were in the hospital at the height of covid. I feel blessed that my mother didnt suffer and dwindle away. Cancer tears the body apart and some dont realize that, meaning the final appearence. Rest Easy Mommy 💔 5-29-20

I've heard of a mother who was convinced her son was not the person in the casket. Grief does unusual things to us 😞

I was unable to attend my grandmother's funeral, but from what I was told by relatives who were there, she was barely recognizable in the casket because of the heavy makeup they used on her. My grandmother seldom wore any makeup during her life (that I had known her) except for her and my grandfather's 50th wedding anniversary celebration, and then, it was just a touch of rouge and a bit of lipstick.

1st case - I'd like a dollar for each time she said, "You know..." The more I hear about what has happened at other people's loved ones' funerals, the more I appreciate that I was born into my family!!! We may have problems with each other - like most families do - but we can at least act civilly while making important decisions such as these. Even including step siblings! 2nd case - We had a brother who lived in another state & couldn't make it for hospital stays before another brother passed. But, you can bet your last dollar that he got just as much as the rest of us! We don't count the cost of sitting with the dying. It's a privilege because we love them!

Maybe she thinks the bite on her arm needs such a thick bandage, but when I had a bite taken out of my arm, a gauze pad with some tape was sufficient for it.

In 2023 we paid $1,200 for my mil to be cremated. They did everything. They handled the paperwork and the arrangements. We picked her up 2 weeks later and put her in a really nice urn.

In FL because my mom died without any plans or money, the state paid for her cremation. Then for my mother in law it was like $650. The funeral home treated us just like any other grieving family. They were really amazing with my mom actually. A few weeks after her memorial we got a large envelope in the mail from them. It had booklet with a full color copy of the obituary page and printed out all of the messages left online. It also had a bookmark, leaflet from the memorial and a condolence card. It was really beautiful.

If the plaintiff lost hair in the fight, why wasn't it part of the lawsuit? It didn't look like it had been pulled out. It looked cut. I've had my hair pulled so hard it separated my scalp from my skull, and what was torn out from the roots did not grow back. Her hair looks to be growing there where she says it was pulled out. On the second case, I'm just glad that when my father passed, my siblings and I knew exactly what his wishes were for the distribution of property. There was no fighting or squabbling over anything. He had burial insurance and a VA pension that took care of everything.

These instances are truly disheartening and somewhat disillusioning. Families who have shared years together suddenly find themselves torn apart when faced with funerals and expenses. I've consistently remarked on this in every instance; there are often unseen complexities stemming from underlying issues that propel them into legal battles. More often than not, these problems had already taken root long before they escalated into legal matters. Litigants frequently emphasize, 'We've been family for 30 years,' highlighting the duration of their connection, yet within those years, unresolved conflicts serve as the primary catalyst for their courtroom confrontation. Each case echoes a recurring theme: families grappling with financial strain, which serves as a testament to their struggle in addressing deeper familial issues. Money, regardless of the length of familial ties, tends to be the force that ruptures familial bonds. It's disheartening to witness the unresolved issues surrounding the core of these cases, sometimes unrelated to the legal matter at hand.

There's no excuse for not being there for someone that was a good parents. I don't care about anyone mental health. I had emotional breakdowns in the hospital while taking care of my dying mother. i still stuck it out the same way she had been there for me all my life. People have become so self absorbed.

@@LIVEINPEACE2023 did you not read my response? I do have mental health issues. I broke down so many times while my mom was sick. I even wished at that time that i would die with her. But being there for her was more important. I even had a day that i showed up after drinking cause i needed something to numb the pain and fear. I'm sorry but theres no excuse for abandoning family (if they've been good family. )

@@kittyb275 : There is an excuse, and it's a good one. If the family member lives and works in another state where it costs money and time to travel and be there, then that is about the best and only excuse. When our parents died, my sister was living and working in Nevada, and they died in Nebraska, but my brother and I knew and understood that she couldn't be here with them in their last days. We did communicate as much as we could by phone.

Have a family meeting BEFORE, attending any business establishment (dealing with funeral arrangements). Start with a prayer, while joining hands. This strife, illustrates this family state of disagreement within each other. It's a continual state of dysfunction.(The first case).

I’ve seen this before but, shame on people that won’t let the dead rest . When people are in a casket they aren’t gonna look the same cause make up going to make them look younger. My grandma (92) and brother (47) passed away they both looked younger Fixed up in a casket and I was thinking my brother didn’t look like himself cause I never saw his hair fixed like that …
