Same goes for comedians who don’t swear. It’s all up to individual preference at the end of the day isn’t it?

abdo m except Michael McIntyre isn’t a clean comedian and does swear occasionally in his comedy, not a lot but just enough when he’s joking about real life that it makes you laugh because it’s realistic. A skilled comedian understands his niche of comedy and makes the audience laugh regardless. Some comedians swear 75% of their set which isn’t comedy (speaking in technical terms) if you’re enacting the rules/techniques of comedy then it’s comedy. If it’s funny or not? That’s up to the audience.

As a person that's done spotlight for a couple of plays, I gotta say, that guy's gotta have the thickest arms in the world not because the spotlight itself is heavy to move, but because you tense up every time you move it so you don't accidentally over.

ya i dont do it either anymore but it was normal procedure when young. Maybe some people just become so used to it that it becomes kind of a habit more than a purposeful act that they never really moved on from.
