Error in video: 3-part driveshaft is to the rear, 2-part driveshaft to the front.
Ball bearings needed to exchange all bushings to bearings (inner diameter x outer diameter x width, mm):
3 x 6 x 2.5 - 21 pcs.
5 x 8 x 2.5 - 4 pcs.
8 x 12 x 3.5 - 2 pcs.
2 x 5 x 2.5 - 1 pc.

Bitte - jo, schaumer mal. Sitzt seit seinem MCCT-Test in der Kiste und derweil nicht mehr angerührt ;-) - gibt zu viele "Baustellen" und neue Modelle.

Greetings from Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA... Thank you for a great video and taking time to compile a list of bearings. The tip to look for interference between the wire and driveshaft is priceless! New subscriber today! I'm hoping to get an FX118 soon and 1st thing I will do is see if the wire needs to be rerouted! Thank you! Tools are difficult, because I nearly exclusively use quite pricy tools from German brands (Wiha, Wera, Knipex), which probably are not necessary and I am not sure if people in other parts of the world even could buy those (easily). However, those do not have everything, and I found the awesome brand Engineer (from Japan) some years ago on Amazon. Highly recommended, you get those on Amazon, but also not cheap. Love their pliers.

I had the same issue with cut and exposed wires. Also check your servo wire, it’s run along the transmission and frame. Mine was pinched and cut just like the motor wire.

My no. 2 had the wires on the other side, no problem at all - only no. 1 was that way.

Un inmenso like para el mejor mecánico de mini crawlers. Hace ya una semana que llegó mi camión y desde el primer momento estoy enamorado de el. Al ver tu vídeo he comprobado que mi coche tiene el mismo problema de enrutamiento del cable y ya está un poco dañado como el tuyo (eso es un descuido en la calidad). Por otro lado, no llego a entender cómo siguen montando casquillos en lugar de rodamientos, máxime en productos con una cierta calidad y precio. Y para acabar, hace ya un tiempo, que conozco a otro gran mecánico de rc, y que en todas sus cajas de transmisión, hace dos pequeños orificios laterales, para poder meter silicona líquida en las mismas por uno de los agujeros, mientras que por el otro, sale el aire sobrante, y posteriormente usa dos pequeños tornillos a modo de tapones. De esa manera no tiene que volver a abrir dichas cajas y siempre las tiene lubricadas. Gracias por tu clases magistrales y que disfrutes de un gran coche.

Thank you for these infos. Did you try running the BL motor off the gearbox to know if it's as noisy as mounted in ?

Not yet, but I will probably make an in deep test of motor and electronics, comparing the Venom to the Micro Komodo etc. - will take some time (still finishing the "test videos", Fury Wagon will be no. 29, probably up tomorrow).

Ich erlaube mir dich hier etwas zu fragen weil du dich mit den CR18s offenbar intensiv beschäftigt hast ? Welche Motor alternativen zum Venom bringe ich da problemlos rein, ev. auch brushed, brauche ich/gibt es adapter ? Ich bin eigentlich SC24 Fanboy und kenn mich da gar nicht aus - habe mir jetzt den 2024 Trail Hunter bestellt weil ich den einfach so ohne rumbasteln fahren wollte, allerdings war nach zwei Minuten klar daß diese Venom/Lizard Lite Combo für mich unbrauchbar ist, sehr slow crawl und heftiger Sprung auf hohe Geschwindigkeit - so kann man nicht crawlen. Außerdem ist der Motor nach zwei Minuten so heiß wie eine Herdplatte. Wobei mir jetzt in einem anderen Video jemand geraten hat den ESC zu verbessern, hier liegen einige Pythons in der Lade, kann ich auch probieren. Sehr enttäuschend jedenfalls das Ding und RTR nur wenn man irgendwie herumbolzen will.

Ich kenn den Lizard Lite selbst nicht. Motor passt nur der Micro Komodo denke ich (hab nur Micro Komodo und Komodo und Venom und Mofo, Komodo und Mofo passen sicher nicht). Brushed passt nichts... wenn du nicht Getriebe auch wechseln willst. Es gibt inzwischen so viele verschiedene Motoren- und Getriebe-Kombos, ich hab da inzwischen auch aufgegeben, es ist zu viel. Ich hab mit Venom und Lizard Pro eigentlich nicht wirklich Probleme... (das mit dem "Sprung" hab ich schon beim Erscheinen der ersten Lizards und Komodos kritisiert, dafür bin ich genug gehasst worden).

I thought my gearbox wasn't manufactured right because of the shaft that goes straight into the plastic, really designed to fail

Same in the Hobby Plus Evo... Super strange - and do not understand why (what is the problem to make this "hole" larger and insert a bearing?). However, did not hear of any problems so far because of this.
