The deciding factor in this game is that Virginia guards CAN'T play defense to save their lives....yes they can score and pass but on defense they're absolutely useless and they cant rebound when their bigs go for blocks. smh Also, #30 on the Furman team needs to Transfer to a power house school next season...he has NBA skills.

Yes. He could have called for time out. He also could have pass a ball to the right side from him where was standing his teammate. He also could have tried to throw the ball to the leg of any of trapping him Furman’ s player. Instead he chose the most ridiculous attempt to throw ball to nowhere. The silly move got punished. Great call by the Furman coach to trap the ballhandler on that last play. Virginia doesn’t like playing fast so they are not used to being sped up like that great scouting lead to a turnover and the game winner.

Like I said before coming from a Texas Longhorns fan!! I’m so glad Furman pulled off this upset!! I hope it’s Furman vs Charleston in the second round because that’s a 13 vs 12 matchup and Charleston vs Furman would be a very fun game to watch!! Also thank you Furman for saving my bracket!!

Furman was just the better team. Furman is really deep and can do a lot of damage to a lot of teams. Their guard play is elite !!! And they got great wings . They a little undersized but play together and they dont give up. Love to see it.

@@spencergray9315 bruh, did you watch the match? I think UVA slept on em a lil bit. Clark has been a faithful servant to the school since forever and me personally, I appreciate all he has done for UVA. He is prone to making mistakes and especially at that point of the game , it was a very significant mistake. But I wouldn't condone bashing. He has been faithful and the ultimate team player. I'm sure his coach is proud of him.

@@spencergray9315 overall, Furman was just the better side. They passed the ball quicker and found gaps but UVA has some NBA level players mehn. I'm proud of Kihei Clark. Hes solid and most of the UVA players are making the NBA anyway. Personally, Beekman would have to step up his guard play, hes steady but a tad bit slow. The ball movement is what hurt UVA . I wouldn't blame Kihei as much. If anything, hes been a faithful servant and always delivered when called upon.

His 1-2-3 in his mind is way faster than the actual clock. Should have thrown the ball much higher but that's all second guessing now. Furman made some very bad plays the last 2 mins turning ball over. Furman should have won anyway truthfully

As a Western Carolina fan (and future student) all I can say is congrats on the upset Furman, y'all earned it. As much as I don't like y'all, I will give you credit where credit is due for representing our conference very well. As for Virginia, that has to be one of the biggest blunders I have EVER seen from an NCAA Tournament team. I get it your man was under pressure and all, but you're honestly better off throwing it out of bounze, forcing more pressing on to the Paladins than what you gave them. Virginia, y'all threw the game away, both literally and figuratively. Good luck to Furman the rest of the way. It won't be easy, but I wish y'all the best of luck. My Cats will be there one day, I just know it. Go Cats!!
