These announcers are a freaking joke! They talk about undefeated seasons, mentioning Texas and Pat Summit and their record. Don’t even mention UConn or Geno Auriemma, just show it on the screen. Six times they went undefeated. Nobody else has even done it twice and they don’t even freaking mention it. Disgusting!

I was watching Auburn vs Arizona where the announcer lied on national TV. The Arizona girl fell along the baseline by an Auburn girl feet. She stayed down as if she was hurt. The announcer said something like "it was a lil kick there and that why she stayed down longer". That wasn't her exact words but she definitely implied that. That had to be the worst I ever heard.

@@KelzKelz Yeah, the flopping is atrocious and the announcers cover for it. Even though I’ve seen some rare ones that do. Plus, they usually cover for the ref’s bad calls too. And also rarely, they will sometimes call it out as a bad, or missed call. But the sports directors are intentionally instructed to not show just foul replays, unless there’s extra circumstances [shooting foul, a possible upgrade, etc…..]. They don’t want ppl keeping an accurate track of all the bad officiating.

I mean, in fairness, she did go 9-9 from the field for 21 points and tacked on 13 boards for the double-double. Is that impressive against a team like PC? No - not necessarily... but even through her struggles in the other tourney games, she capped it in the final against Iowa with another DD (11 pts/10 boards). There's no doubt she improved throughout the year, earned her starting spot this year. and deserved her flowers for her performance in this game.
