For us we put the nuts back on the bolts remove the bolts baggy them and place them inside the center of the base then close it up.

You guys are awesome! Thanks so much for posting all these really helpful videos. For couches and upholstered chairs that would be in long term storage (1.5+ years), would you recommend wrapping them in plastic?
