I hate when you say it’s going to be a short episode… because I LOVE your discussions, your humor, the way you think through stuff out loud with us. Keep up the great work, please.

Love your episode! That purple is lovely, I don't really do purple but my sister recently discovered that lavender looks AMAZING on her. So I'm currently knitting the Oxford Jumper from fable knitwear in Gepard gard mohair and merino/silk in a lovely lavender and light baby blue mix

Fun episode, thank you 😊. Lovely fleegling! I am attmpting to wing a Sophie scarf look alike at the moment. Just doing a 3 slip stitch icord on each edge and a standard 1 stitch increase all down one side every few rows to gradually widen one tail of the scarf, with a straight bit in the middle and mirroring with a 1 stitch decrease the same number of rows apart for the other tail of the scarf. I am knitting to the approximate dimensions and gauge from the Ravelry page. That’s what the pictures look like to me so unless I’m missing something I probably don’t need to buy the pattern. It’s looking good so far. I am using some grey, lace weight cashmere I bought off ebay yonks ago, held double. It was going to be socks for my husband but I never made it past one toe. The Bubbly sweater by Maria Loefsted is an Aran weight similar to yours but with a more standard collar that might help if you decide to adapt yours.

I don't think you'd knit to put the supersoft in the washing machine. When I used it before, I just blocked it at the end and it "bloomed" a bit. It's a bit scratchy but I don't mind it and it's super warm too. I love your Ingrid sweater!!! I fell in love with that pattern a while ago but am trying to resist the temptation. After seeing yours though, it's calling my name more than ever lol. Btw, I love the possible folded neck modification instead of ripping back and redoing the whole thing.

Listening to you trying to describe knitting techniques is so funny. Knitting is always so much more difficult to explain, than to actually do. I tried to explain a friend how to cast on and failed miserably. You've motivated me to try some toe up socks, they always seemed more difficult for some reason, but having less casting on to do sounds compelling! (also since you've mentioned wanting to do a cable sweater, have you looked at the twist loop sweater by otherloops? It looks so cozy I wanna cry, but I don't wanna start it now, because it'll be too warm for it when I'm done 😭)

Toe up is def my fave and judys magic cast on is really simple once you get used to it!! And i loveeeeeeeee the otherloops sweater i might cast on the collar/slipover version 👀

I really don’t know what it is about it. But I love your intro music and the way you edit the intro so much. Of the multitude of knitting channels I watch, your intro and overall editing is like top 3 for sure ❤😊 Also love that you make me laugh. Thanks for sharing!

I used 2 strands of supersoft + silk mohair to knit my Ingrid Sweater and I liked how it came out. I really like your Ingrid, too!! I used a bit more yarn than I expected (about 5-2/3 balls of Drops Kid Silk for the size S but I made the body longer) but since you’re knitting yours with a thicker yarn, I think you may be fine (plus, you are making some modifications). I found supersoft rather woolly and rustic than what its name indicates. After washing, it does get softer. It will definitely be a great choice for cabled or patterned sweaters. Right now I’m working on Pressed Flowers Cardigan by Amy Christoffers, which is one of my never-ending WIPs 😂 Hopefully I can finish it soon!

im currently knitting on a pair of fancy mittens (they're not that fancy but they are 100% alpaga and the yarn is white so I feel fancy for some reason) and I have two sweaters in the making. I really love the fleegle heel you showed and im always looking for new techniques to learn about socks so this might be the next ill try ! for your pretty lilac combo, i found a pattern that looks a bit like sweater 15 except its a cardigan and i really want to try it. gauge is fingering + lace on 5mm needles. downside is that its a drops design pattern so it might be a pain in the butt to decipher but.. its free and it looks cute ! its the Bluebell twist cardigan

Biggest takeaway is that you don't actually like purple that much O_O I've been eyeing those holst cones and Moby sweater pattern, so if you go that direction I'm particularly interested to see how it turns out! I'm knitting on Jessie Maed's Bubble Crop Top while taking a break from Ozetta's Seasons Cardigan.

the way I relate so much to you not liking purple but having a lot of purple yarns 🙃 I don't wear purple because they wash me off but I keep buying them (yarns). They're just so pretty!!!

@@futurefiber 🤣🤣. Pastels are def where it’s at. I think knitting and hand dyed yarns are helping me explore color. I just bought yarn for a lime/neon green ribbed pullover and I also have a craving for a hot pink cardigan (the latter is inspired by @maressmade podcast)
