the hard thing about gig work is you are constantly trying to improve your strategy. At the same time, tons of other people are doing the same thing. I changed a few things this week and am already $200 ahead of where I was last week. Who knows, maybe other people have figured out the same thing and next week will be different.

12 hr days lead to burnout. Your day is litterally sleeping, eating, driving. Another thing, is your traps/neck/hips/glutes/abs just get too tight. I did 12 hrs straight, as it's harder to get at it again when you stop, but this means you will probably drive in non-peak times, a good start would be 7pm to 7am. Right now I do 4-9am, and I just have a hard time going out again around 2-3pm for another 3-4hrs... When I did the straights, I had a daily money goal I wanted to hit, 250, and weekly was 2000.

Definitely wanna do the 12 hours straight. Just wanna do that everyday temporarily until my debt is resolved. Ultimately I’ve just been lazy at times but man is it hard doing 12 hours haha, it’s all about being mentally resilient. I appreciate it!

I try to take a small break every 4-6 hours. I get my car, walk around, eat a snack, use the bathroom or just lay back in my car and watch some KZfaq. Also keep in mind you don't have to work 12 straight hours. You can do 6 in the early morning, take a break during rush hour and then do 6 hours at night.

Thank you for taking the time to help us learn how to MAXIMIZE our efforts in this chosen line of work. The more money we can EARN and then KEEP as a business owner, the more money each individual can then decide how to spend on life expenses !! (which vary quite considerably based on an endless number of circumstances)

Tristan...love your cast; but 10% is to low for self employment(SE) taxes and income taxes. SE is 15.2% as is, then you have income and/or state taxes paid quarterly. The IRS will catch up with you trust me I learned this the hard way. Keep up with the videos, I love the honesty and not just complaining that most of the ride sharing channels resort too. This is easy money if you have the right market and right personality.

It's hard to say what strategy works. I made 230 cash included in 6 straight hrs on Monday of this week. If I solely focused on driving close to and around anticipated surges I should be able to hit 300 everyday in 10 hrs, but there's obvious dead time there and most likely closer to 20 rides... Or I can focus on getting into areas and not caring about the bonuses on the ride, picking shorter rides, make 222-240ish but I'll have done 35 rides. Then if I hit the bonus I'm basically back at what I could have probably made had I been patient and waited out the bonuses. If I pick everything in my market I'll probably make around that 240 range but have 20ish rides, because it will start sending me cross town.

Do you think that driving your car at your expence for a $4 delivery is profitable?....Remember this #1 Initial cost of vehicle #2 gas #3 insurance #4 Maintenance #5 Depreciation....Keep in mind that a high mileage vehicle is worth pennies on the dollar when time to trade in. 20 years ago if you asked a cab driver to pick up a sandwich and deliver it for $4 and drive 1 mile....He would laugh in your face .....20 YEARS AGO !!!!!@@FutureRideshareMillionaire

I love your work ethics man but seriously, don't enable these predatory companies by doing these crazy challenges and taking $3 offers. Minimum fare keeps going down every year because they know people will be desperate. Before long, it will be $2. What then?

Hopefully, by the time it's $2, I will be out of debt. I don't care what Uber and Lyft have going on. I won't reject a profitable $3 ride on a "what if" principle. If you have an issue with me taking $3 rides but don't have a problem with how much I'm making overall, why target the $3 strategy and not the overall income?

@TristanThomasYT Yes, it is funny because you're lying to your viewers just for likes. There's no way you're making that much money with uberlyft when both companies are stealing drivers' money at least 60%. I'm in the San Francisco Bay area in a huge market area, and it's saturated with drivers' most requests that are less than $6.00 for a 12 - to 15-minute pick-up. I'm not a desperado to chase riders for that amount of my time, and my fuel is valuable. So I don't understand where you get your numbers from. 🤔
