Fascinating series, I would have liked some cleaner demos. I want a clean crunch with a pleasing character. Not sure what you value in that wall of ott distortion :). Liked how the builds and board layout improved with extra adaptability. With the pluggable clip diodes you could try two different uneven diodes. A small signal diode and a germanium maybe? Some builders like that offset clipping sound.

Hey Thanks ! Ah, idk, I like dirty and crunch tones. I like clean too sometimes, but I tend to opt for noises half cause the challenge. I find it can be easy to make good clean tones, but not as much a good dirty tone. Especially high gain metal tones. They are a big challenge to DIY. That said, my past is in extreme metal, so that's what I know, that's kind of what I do. One thing that frustrates me is when I go looking for information online, like speaker demos or something, everybody is using clean and crunch tones, but very few are using a good metal tone.

Haha, not sure I'd call what I did in this vid "sick riffs".

A resistor value of red, red, red is 2.2k and show the schemaic with 33k should be orange, orange, orange mybe that is why your not so satisfied with the sound.

Ah, I probably meant to say Orange, you see later in the vid I confirmed it had a 33k. I glitch with my words that way. Nah, back in the say it would of been a sound that just didn't do it for me. I've since taken more of a liking to it. In the follow up vids, you'll notice I play it more comfortably than I do in this vid once I had some time to explore it.
