PWCG doesn't have missions for the plane yet. So I set up a FW 190 Campaign starting in Feb 1945. Then I use the IL-2 built-in mission editor (STEditor.exe) in the games 'bin' directory to change the FW 190 to the Ta-152.

I'm sure they would reply "Ja, es war notwendig". Look at some of the Japanese piston engine high-altitude designs and today's gliders. All have similar wing profiles. Interestingly, the Ta 152 is surprisingly manoeuvrable in this sim, but in a graceful way. So as a pilot, you just need to anticipate the need to manoeuvre.

Exactly!! With a three speed two stage inter cooled supercharger. Each speed was optimised for a higher altitude. I’m not aware of any other plane with three speeds.

The 152 was designed to counter possibly the B 29 deployment​@@Cybernaut76

@@user-ug8tg5wc1g I think so too though B-29 is not the only plane it was useful against. I remember hearing they tried to design another plane too against B-29 but it never flew. Or then it was TA-152 I remember but my memory is failing me.
