FX16 goes to Toyotafest 2019

I took the FX16 to Toyota Fest 2019 in Long Beach, California. There were so many amazing cars there. I was drooling the whole time! Toyota people are friendly and truly love their cars. Stick around in the video to see a tour of my FX16.

I love how he calls the lotus boring (Then again the corollas with 4ag engines from this time period and even the later ones are very fun with the engine)

FX FOREVER MAN , your car is ultimate bro. my first car was a stock AE101 FX GT (silvertop). I dont think ill ever get rid of it to man lol. You make the best 4AGE vids bro, very cool

Had one for 10 years. Miss driving it. Btw I noticed the driver side trim moulding (small piece) on the fender is misaligned to the door's. Otherwise, very clean set up and effective mods.

Haha, it’s the trim piece. I kick myself that I didn’t align it properly. Other side is perfect, lol.

@@sushpants You're lucky to find a clean example. Mine was relatively but developed rust on the hatch glass and inner fenders. I bet you got a stash of spare parts. Very rare in salvage yards when I went parts hunting.

I'm sorry, I do not understand the question. If you are asking about the engine swap in my Geo Metro it is a Toyota 4AGE 20 valve Black Top. Same as the awesome corolla in this video, maybe I can race him one day.

How do the transmission mounts line up with the ae82? and also, what axles did you use for the transmission? did you use the c160 axles or something else?

Looked like a fun show for sure. Now on to more important things . When are you and I going to get togeather and talk about what to do next on my Miata. I would love to know more about the meth injection that you setup with the super charger and were you able to run more boost?

Yep, lots of mr2’s and a few ae86’s but only 2 corolla fx’s :/ this years festival was cancelled. Maybe next year more will show up.

Is the AC still functioning in the car ?

Negative. I pulled the original R12 AC system out. Total weight savings was about 70 pounds.
