Hi, I have the exact same thing. Look at the side of the tool, it is not easy to spot, but the slots are numbered. Also, I like to put some soap and water on the wipers before cutting. If they are clean and more slippery, you get proper cuts and the wiper works like new. This goes for Bosch AeroTwin, haven't used this tool on other wipers yet. Still, at the end of the cut, I have to use some scissors to trim the last bit off. PS: I really appreciate your content, especially regarding retrofit LEDs. Greetings from Germany.

I have similar 'ecocut pro' tool (seems to be cheap copy on video) and it works fine if cut is done with one pull without stopping at middle.

The tool works just fine, provided u use it correctly... 1 Use warm water to clean and soften the rubber 2. add a bit of liquid soap for lubrification 3. swipe it with a continous motion without stopping. and you're done.

By the way, after watching your tests I started using car consumables that you point out to have good quality :D. Many thanks!

Spary some dry silicon on the blade b4 cutting, and DONT STOP YOUR CUT in the middle of a pull.

Thanks for testing this. Two alternatives (of very different prices) I know of are either to buy replacement rubbers for your blades or trying to find (usually online) silicone ones that are much more durable ;) Best regards.

the trick is to perform the cut in a single motion. If you cut, stop, then cut again, it creates a uneven suface on the wipers which leads to streaking

On normal wipers it works like a good massage on a prosthetic foot. What I discovered is that it does better on blade wipers, don't ask me why, I know that I use that last time in 2017 iirc, I had an BMW E39 and normal wipers were costing something like 50EUR/pair (7er wipers). That's when I decided to try some Bosch Blade because they were cheaper, after a failed attempt on rain with the normal wipers (yeah, I had the same reaction as you did), I ordered from ATU a pair of Bosch Blade wipers for the E39. After one year I decided to cut them instead of buying new ones. They worked again like new.....for about 3 months and then the rubber blade disintegrated. But hey, it's a win! Kind of...

Mulțumesc Sergiu pentru video clip, exact cum mi-a închipui, un produs prost. Dacă ai putea sa probezi și soluția de reparat fisurile în parbriz. Că se face mult tam, tam cu ea și este tot la fel de ieftină. Aștept cu nerăbdare video clipul.

Am si eu acelasi produs dar , spre deosebire de tine, eu l-am folosit pe stergatoare de tipul celor fara rama. Eu pot spune ca si-a facut treaba cu brio pe acest tip de stergatoare . Intr-adevar, nu la fel sta treaba daca incerci o a doua restaurare/taietura . Nu a mai fost la fel de eficient ca prima data . Totusi, la mine pot spune ca aproape a dublat viata stergatoarelor.

Instead of trimming the rubber, I suggest trying to disassemble the wiper, replacing the wiper with blade refill that you can find online. By doing so, ideally it's guarantee to bring the most of the wipping performance back, even if you damage it during the changing process, then you should happily throw it away and get a new one, that's the way it's meant to be.

Thanks for the video content. As it's a bit obvious this product is true false advertising, kudos for making an video that proves it, so less people would be actually fooled to buy it. I've got an side question but related to wipers - Do you recommend any cleaning on the wipers in terms of not fixing something that's already for replacement (squeakiness) but out of pure maintaince? I have been using wet wipes to clean mine here and there whenver I remember and I haven't noticed any significant wear or noise increase, but actual better performance over the blades, which it's very important on the rainy season :)

Nu vreau sa fac reclama ca nu am nici un interes dar încearcă produsul de la “aquapel”. Nu tine de stergatoare dar tot de vizibilitate și parbriz tine. Genial efect are și chiar un real ajutor pe ploaie și timp de noapte. Poate ajutam și alți conducători.

I wanna claim defective user, as if I could do better. Cutting rubber, I would recommend lubrication. Soap up the blade plenty first then do your test.

The german ones work, but are exensive. They actually cut a layer of rubber, not sand it.

Chinese do fine stuff but...only for their own market. For some other foreign markets, they do rubbish.
