Normally in mangalore pepper and coconut is not used in golibaje. Only chilli jeera and curry leaves

@@rams5364 it's golibaje. Ppl call it as mysore bonda.. in mangalore it's not used. Now a days everywhere fusion and call in new names

Yes you are right. But Coconut is definitely being used. But not pepper. For a change we may add this. In SK even a small quantity of urad dal grinded and also a little besan is being added in authentic receipe and also batter fermented. But this also seems to be nice. Goli bajji is made in different ways in each place in SK. This one is also very nice and iam going to try this. It is shown by an experienced person and i liked it very much.

Thanks for this recipe. I am chef by profession but I am not good at doing this bajji. Today I came to know that what mistakes I use to do. It is mixing of batter where I use to go wrong. Thanks a lot once again. Now seeing this I can make perfect Mangalore bajji.

@@sumukhagouri1451 no right measurement of curd is important while adding . I used to beat the batter which I was doing the mistake. Where batter becomes elastic.

I'm from Mangalore and my grandfather had hotel.. we never used black pepper in Goli baje.. it's only green chillies paste or finely chop that taste good in Goli baje..

It's perfectly right. First time taken out kept to bit cool down then add to second round. Then rest process.... fine. Do this process for Dal wade/ Chattambade.
