I def agree that it is an internalized misogyny thing people have when it comes to capping women at a certain age when it comes to breaking into the music industry. Knowing that there are male singers who are in their 40s + who are still performing and no one discourages them, but as a woman unless you're in your early teens to mid 20s, no one wants to see you do much of anything.

It’s not just misogyny, it’s also the fetishization of young girls and boys in Hollywood and the music industry. Once those girls grow up they lose their innocence and become too strong minded for them to control anymore, so they drop them or continue to use the weaker willed ones to make the abusers that coin. But I feel like during the 80’s that broke slightly with artists like Madonna and Whitney Houston who were role models for strong and independent women.

I think gabbie and Trisha clashed a lot before because of David, Shane, but also because they both were so mentally messed up at the time I think everything all together just was never gonna work too much negativity all for vein and once Trisha and gabbie finally realized that the money and fame wasn’t worth their mental health they finally got out and got better and are now reflecting on all the bad theyve done, they’re both in about the same space in their journey where they want to realize their wrongs, learn from them, make sure they never happen again, and advocate for the issues, they’re doing great I’m just honestly not sure if it’ll work with them being friends though I think that ship sailed long ago but I think they’ll be able to be content with one another

I don’t trust Gabbie. She’s known for leeching to everyone who’s “currently famous”. She probably saw majorty of people love and support Trisha now so she jumps on the bandwagon to stay relevant. Funny how she made up with Trisha but not Jessi. That’s because Trisha is more popular and she can use her, unlike Jessi.

I agree! I would love to see them make up & be friends but I can just tell that they are completely different people lol I am more like Trisha myself.. & I have had similar experiences in my friendships where I’ve just not gotten along with them at times over things like they are cool to be around & are great people but I always try & steer clear of certain subjects or touchy topics.. that’s how I see Trisha & Gabbies relationship they are both really sensitive to other peoples words/ care about views & how people see them & go with whatever is popular & trendy so there is always going to be room for them to butt heads because they are so much alike but neither can actually admit to it or they may not know how to interpret a convo in order to see the other persons side.. if that makes any sense lol but I really love them both just don’t know if their friendship can flourish unless they talk one on one instead of talking for others to hear ( their fans ) or people they know ( other influencers ) chiming in on the things they do & talk about.

It really sounds like Trisha doesn’t remember this “friendship” that Gabbie recalls. I’m inclined to think that it was real because historically, even if she’s in the wrong, Trisha stands up for her friends so if she said Gabbie wasn’t her friend, then I really don’t think they were. Also everyone has different opinions of what a “friend” is 🤷🏽‍♀️

I mean the tweets are up. And gabbie over the years has released multiple screenshots of them texting and dming and they had the EXACT SAME friend group. The vlog squad, shane and co, and even the demartino twins and co. I do think they were friendly acquaintances almost friends but not close. And trisha conveniently dismissed this from her story because it made her story times about her more interesting. SHES A STALKER SHOWED UP UNNANOUNCED, gabbie shows a screenshot of a conversation where trisha says RSVP IF YOU CAN!! gabbie is psycho wrote a song for me out of no where, gabbie shows screenshots of trisha asking to work together and to write her a song. Like this is a constant thing trisha has done. Although I think trisha is on the right path she has a long way to go.

Okay so hear me out. If Gabbie knew that someone was going around saying Trisha had an STI and they were "friends" enough to be talking about relationships with one another and such... why didn't Gabbie go to Trisha and let her know 1) The identity of the person making the claims and 2) The claims? Wouldn't it had made a lot more sense for her to tell someone she says she was friends with the fact that someones talking ish' about her? Idk about anyone else, but if someone feels comfortable to talk stuff with a friend of mine.. about me.. it would make me suspicious as to why that person thinks that said friend of mine would be okay with it :/

This is just me saying, I don't necessarily believe Gabbie when she says that she thought her and Trisha were such good friends. Otherwise I don't get why she wouldn't tell Trisha just as a heads up that someones out there spreading ish' about her. I think Gabbie had a relatively parasocial relationship with Trisha via what Trisha presents online and didn't think much of Trishas' feelings because we all know Trisha to take things at face value. It probably rocked Gabbies world when she realized that it actually did hurt Trishas feelings.

I’m going to be honest, I’ve never liked Trisha, and probably never will. She’s done things in her not too distant past that really makes me angry. However, I will say that she made a mature decision to go on the podcast and talk about her issues. And I’ll also say that I didn’t really like how Trisha acted on the podcast. It’s reasonable for her to have her walls up, but Gabbie clearly was hurt and believed that they once had a friendship. So Trisha brushing it off as “must’ve been photoshopped” is actually pretty rude. It’s clear Gabbie didn’t ever really mean anything to her, while Gabbie seems to have valued Trish. While Trish has been doing a lot of good moving on from bad things in her past, she doesn’t deserve forgiveness in my opinion. She did terrible damage to the DID, LGBTQ+, and POC communities, which was hardly taken with the severity the situation required. She still to this day has not apologized for many of her problems, instead she ignored them or even mocked them, lessening them. She kept lampshading her audience and it’s honestly upsetting. You could see her doing similar behavior in the podcast.

That was v alward to me. Also Gabbie was being super open and empathic and Trish was the opposite kinda throwing off her shoulder every topic and barely sharing her side. It was clear Trisha wasn’t fully comfortable. Also they are such different types of people. Also props to Gabbie for not getting inflamed with the washed up 30 topic cus it was making me mad for her! xD

This is absolutely true Trish still has a lot of work to do. We still don’t know all the abuse Gabbie has gone through but she was dragged through the dirt for years online and nobody gave a single shit. It was so cool to hate her like come on everybody this is a person you don’t know and you’re commenting on a situation you don’t actually know

Trisha was defensive when talking with Gabbie, her wall was up the whole time. Sometimes it felt like Trisha just was wanting to disagree with Gabbie's outlook, and didn't try to understand where Gabbie was coming from with her opinions. Trisha was giving off some mean girl attitude, and I think it was because she just wasn't very comfortable with the situation. It doesn't help that Trisha magically forgot everything that didn't fit her narrative.

I have a problem with everyone praising Trish to unhealthy levels out of sudden. It feels like she's kinda using the situation and just straight up refuses to apologize for anything (you can see it in this situation and also on Frenemies). Like, people can hurt you but you can hurt them as well. I feel like everyone is tiptoeing around her so she won't get triggered or anything. She still needs to be held accountable and excuses like "I experience this every day, so what", "I did nothing wrong I could apologize for are not acceptable.

I think she went to the internet because Trish kept talking about it to people. And Gabbie wanted to ask her audience for validation if what she did was right or wrong. The thing is she wanted to speak to Trish about it..but Trish didn’t want to talk to her. Trish has every right not to want to speak to her. So I can see why Gabbie took it online. I got so much more respect for Gabbie since she was so empathetic to the point where she felt like she was downplaying her own experiences and traumas. In that podcast Gabbi seems more humble, grown, nicer and willing to forget\forgive move on with life and make friends with her. She apologised too. Im was never her nor Trisha fan. But I feel happy to see her growth\success. But when Trisha doesn't care about others feelings like when she didn't care about Etans feeling, kept on bringing him down but he kepts on understanding\supported her as a friend. Its kinda like its nice to make friend with Trisha but if you offend her she will be ur worst enemy. But again she can't protect and fight back if her friends are richer\meaner then her for e.g Jeffree is richer\meaner\stronger mentally so she couldnt protect and tell him she is offended that he is being mean at his face. She even told she loves Drama alert\keemstar when he was trash talking about her in his channel whereas she told it right at Ethan\Hila´s face because they are nicer person to her. In this kind of times I don't like Trisha. Other than that she is hardworking woman so, I support her. I feel nice to see her growth\success. Wish she would be more enlightened even as a human being.
