Your swing is looking really solid. A nice powerful move to start the downswing, but remaining balanced and controlled throughout. Mostly on plane. (Just a little inside on the initial takeaway) Honestly, I think you're probably going to need to start playing the same tees as the guys to challenge yourself a bit more. You hit as long as an average guy club player anyway it sounds like. And much straighter. Your golf IQ is high too. For example laying up on that par 5 WAS the smart move. (I think it was #2)

@@mattflickinger8151 yeah, cos 6.5 plays off 7. He’s a 7. Handicap’s are not averages. He hits a good ball, and playing a young girl on KZfaq when you’re just expecting a knock with your pal must’ve been tough. Edit, second thoughts, his wedge game it awful. I’d say 10-12, but capable of 78 (like he said). Probably just a recreational golfer who hits a lot of balls on the range and thinks handicap is what he’s capable of.

Gabby has a long way to go yet before even thinking about LPGA, I’ve been fortunate over last 30 years of working in the golf business and have seen players make it and yet seen even better players not. Just carry on what your doing Gabby, have fun and put the work in off camera. Try and get yourself a invite to a big pro-am, playing in a big environment alongside a LPGA player I guarantee your going to learn so much from that. I am a new subscriber and as a father of three adult girls love your enthusiasm and love for the game, the best of luck to you. P.S Talent is never enough, the work has to be put in.

Ya it took me years to get to that mindset. A 3 putt would destroy my round because I'd grind on it mentally. She's pretty impressive to be that young and able to get past it.

Abacoa, nice course right by our house! That and North Palm Beach are the 2 nicest public courses i have found so far. Jupiter Dunes is my go to par 3 track though

I saw you first as a facebook mini video. I was interested. Your swing is perfect, you have all the shots in your bag. If you were more familiar with the course you might have shaved a stroke here and there. Back when I was 10 I saw Arnold Palmer play the first round at my towns course with Gary Player, watching him got me interested in golf. My first set of clubs are now illegal, they were hand made Pings. While I could hit the ball far, where it landed was pure speculation. I took a few lessons then went into the service/Vietnam and stopped playing in the 70's. But to watch the golf the way I could only wish I could have is wonderful.
